mista282, it's an HKS SuperDragger, but I ended up changing all the piping to something larger. Only the original mufflers & tips still exist.
jdmr288, that's just a stock 94 wing. About the cooler, it's horizontally mounted on the passenger side to keep it away from the dump pipe. I used to have an HKS IC & this setup outperforms it by far. I've never come close to heatsoaking on the street, only on the dyno. Yes, that is an oil cooler in the stock IC location.
Nick, you know it was never about competing, just having fun [;^)] I seriously think yours is gonna be friggin awesome. Tristan is the one that set the bar to new heights.
Apexii22, I'm pretty certain that'd never end up happening, we're all pretty similar on pump fuel anyway. Ultimately, James' car will have more potential as his setup allows for race fuel, which is another game altogether. I always wished I could have a run against a bunch of those dudes on MR2OC though (that'd be fun!).

Nice nice. I might see about getting some kind of setup like that done. Id imagine its an absolute PITA to do something like that but I'll see how i go in the future. What kind of exhaust setup do you have? And are there any tangible gains to be had from ditching the stock system to an aftermarket? I have read somewhere that anywhere between 3-7rwkw could be had from taking the stocko off? Is it better to run the dual setup or have a single? Cheers mate.

Yeah, as Jason said, would probably be a non-event. Both live in different states and what not. Pump numbers would be very similar. On paper I should probably make 30-40 more horsepower at an equivalent boost level (here comes the controversy). In reality - I guess we'll see. That sort of power difference at those levels wouldn't make a great difference to ET's, it'd be in the hands of the driver. With properly configured launch control I think I'd probably take the edge in a 1/4 mile race. The launch is where its at in dragging.

Tristans TT V6 is still suffering a few teething problems and as such he is only running very low boost. Not sure of his power output at current but its nothing spectacular. Think hes got to redesign a few elements before winding up the boost.

jdmr288, I named my exhaust in a previous reply. As is the case with just about all turbocharged cars (except the supercars of course), ditching the stock exhaust will give a significan't gain, even beyond the 3-7kw you mentioned. The simplest & least restrictive exhaust will perform the best, so duals aren't No.1, but they're generally good enough & sound/look a treat ToyMota, I never was the only one in the 300rwkw club [(#)] I can confirm at least 5 other MR2's (maybe more) in the Sydney area alone that have recorded 300+rwkw. They're just not forum-active. Plus the others from around the country & handful knocking on heavens door Totenkopf, I agree with your 30-40hp difference. My 312rwkw was a heatsoaked 60 degree plus IAT run (not to mention ignition breakdown). Testing we did with water pointed to a 320-330rwkw peak had I used a W2A setup. But as you said, in your case, we'll see. Don't jinx yourself by thinking too far ahead. If you make 340rwkw @ 20psi on 98 ron fuel with reasonable ignition timing, you're on the ball. About the drag racing bit, at these levels, it's not that driver related. Don't forget it's where 2steps & ecu based launch controls come into play, along with tyre/suspension setups. Dylan, even if my car could break the sound barrier, I'd still be late [88] Don't forget Shane went back to black, his Supra literally ate the MR2. Won, the inner white boy in Shane isn't coming out, that was just him smiling & showing his teeth lol
