86 Pics

Couldn't resist stopping in on CMI Toyota on the way home from exams today. Look what they've got on the showroom floor!

 
First impression when you sit in the interior is how everything wraps around you, even the seats. Steering wheel doesn't tilt much as I expected, however.

 
Note how the oil filter is very easy to reach. Toyota have a past history of placing the oil filter in very hard to reach location in my experience.

 
Interesting design for the wheel wells. If you take away the plastic fender, you'd be able to see the wheel underneath.

 
Sold rear discs! Apparently only the GT-S comes with ventilated discs at all four corners.

    ahh but you've already seen it Ray :P
    3 hours of exploring the GT and GTS 86. I was told there are a lot of people already coming.
    I want to find out what all the hype is about. Apparently their demo car is out all day every day.

    Blagged my way in to the Toyota distributors the other day...
     
    The shift is awesome, such a short throw. Feel like i have more room in the SW, steering wheel is pretty low in the 86.
    Enough legroom, but my seat was hard up against the rear.
     
    Bloke i was speaking to reckons there's rumours around that Supra will be back in a couple of years!
