gen 2 turbo drop off

Hey guys,
I have a quick question. My gen 2 mr2 has standard ct26 turbo. Ive upped the boost to 15 psi. My question is, as i climb the revs towards 5000rpm, the boost continues to drop all the way to 10 psi...
'-Is that because the turbo is not capable of holding 15 psi all the way to red line?
-Is it maybe my wastegate as i know my boost T is spot on
-Is it something else that i could check?

I believe this is normal especially with a standard exhaust, boost drops off around 5500rpms on the ct26.

yeah this is normal for the ct26. you will nee3d a ct2ob at minimum if you want to pull to redline and not loose puff.
std exhaust and dump pipe are also not doing you any favours

Sorry, should have mentioned that i have an exhaust already.
What happens is around 3000rpm, im hitting 15 psi, by 4500 rpm drops to 14psi, 5000 12psi and anything beyond that is pretty much 10 psi.

Im definitely going to upgrade to ct20b or similar in future. cheers fellas
