Moar like brave enough

I can sense some frustration from you Chris but meh, Steve was really nice to present the awards without any discrimination and to me that's another reason why we are a great bunch of people :)
Or, lets say if he wasn't there...

Nice work with the video's!Would be great to get a hard copy so I can make a promo clip for next year.
I have added a review on the trackday and the final results on the website. www.ultimatetrackdaychallenge.com.au
Next years event will be held on 6-7th Jan 2014. IT will allow the mechanical workshops to make the event as well as giving everyone else plenty of time to prepare. So book your leave now!
Im working on having the pricing the same as last year for the people whe entered this year and people who make the early bird period. This will be set around August.
The format will be the very much the same, classes will be governed by entries as it was this year.
The points system will be rectified with templates made up well in advance.
Same for scrutineering and car weights.
I will look into a package for interstate people to have their cars delivered via truck or train. This will reduce costs and time to get to there. It would be a lot better for interstate guys if the cars were loaded and delivered to Goulburn, the drivers travel via plane, pick up their car, drive to the track and off you go. After you factor in fuel, food, accomodation, time and energy, its worth considering the option.
I will also work on having Marulan Driver training centre as an extra for the event. We can go there on the Sunday till 3pm, then drive 30 mins to Wakefield Park.
More attention will be given to a interstate challenge as much as a class challenge.
Will also improve on the time available for the photoshoot.

The results

Presuming that Targa and other Tarmac events keep the same timetable, that first weekend of the year makes it do-able for me.

Slap up edit of a few laps pieced together. One of the slower laps I did, and it was the damn 'hot lap'

Features a nice spin off by Asimovy!

James,
I have a box which needs to be built. There is a kazz 1.5 way to bolt into it. Not sure what the final ratio is, but you can change this to your liking while its still in pieces. PM for more details.

Dudeman, first time I have seen someone loose it at turn three! Looks like you had as much fun making the video as you did at Wakefield.

E153 doesn't bolt up to a 1ZZ, however there are adaptor kits out there to make the match work.

That wasn't me, that was Asimovy! I used stuff of my car for the first lap and then used interior stuff from his car, you can see when the wing mirrors change and there is a t-top as opposed to my white hardtop.

Was good putting the video together, I have put my hand up to do a cut of the event when footage is available.

Yeah there's adaptor plates for it, the C transmission is not strong enough for turbo, too much torque, but its great for NA as its light.

Well, I have been toying around with couple of options:

the cheapest and fastest way is to buy a C60/64 transmission and bolt back in - don't know how long it will last.
the not as cheap way is to buy a E153, adaptor and axle, clutch, manual conversion, different ECU - more power and transmission is bomb proof, but its back to old fashion way.
the more expensive option dog box kit for C64 (6 speed), manual conversion, shifter conversion and different ECU - would be a blast to drive but it only will hold 400nm.
even more expensive E153 conversion as above and dog box gear kit and shifter conversion - that would be great
but the ultimate would be a sequential transaxle box mated to a 2gr-fse, major chassis conversion, twin turbo, Motec ECU and Display and closed loop paddle shift - would be the ultimate just imagine.... hahahaha  the hard wear alone is about $30k, I don't want to imagine the labour
