Yes they are up now. There are more to do over the next few days including mine after tune ans test.
Entries will be opened to other car clubs as of next week but saving the garages for MR2's till the end of the year. Hopefully we will see 30 MR2's and plenty of other Toyota's come on board.
Circuit Club has a free pass to anyone of thier trackdays which can effectively pay for more than half your entry if your number is pulled out the barrel. This is a great addition to the meet.
Hopefully the Electric AW11 will enter as he was very keen last week and via email. Have to wait and see.
Will be able to complete more work on organising the event this week but I could do with some help with the site if someone is willing to put their hand up.
Also need a cook! A DJ! Sim racing star! A resident mechanic to help out if required. Scruitineer's. Pit marshall. Photographers and budding film makers are most welcome.

Sorry to hear about your engine Glenn.
We gathered footage of the hill climb and short circuit yesterday. Will have these online very soon.
My car was Good except for electrical issues. Ians was good too except he had a alternator issue. Looking for final practice on the 28th of December.

Just a quick one: I don't know if I plucked this out of nowhere but I recall that there were mechanics on in the day? Are they capable of doing wheel alignment changes? Otherwise I guess we all drive there with our "track" setup? This post reeks of noob haha

I drive everywhere on my track setup!

(says the guy who's trailering to WP)

but mostly I do. Aggressive alignment won't screw your tyres too badly in just one trip.

Alright sweet as just wanted to know as I'll be heading to the suspension shop soon and get this most important area sorted out! Finally end my 1.7 years of pathetic front positive camber and excessive rear negative camber (yep very sad)

Im not sure who will be there to help out but I can help out with 'how to diy your alignments'. It pretty easy once you get the idea of it.
Four more people have paid entries over the last week.
Three SW20's, a R33 and a FT86 .
Im trying to get to the track on Sunday for another drive to solve the gremlins on the car.
Cheers

Update on The Pearl:-

# Rollcage is now a 2013+ CAMS approved cage for two people with extra bar work and new reinforced seat mounts. Harness height and seating (Both race seats in car now) arrangements set for Andy etc (really nice bit of kit) will be finished 4th - 5th of Jan.
# Few heatshields and undertray items to make.
# Paint the cage if there is time (prick of a job)
# A set of Ohlins inverted dampners have been found, so we are building a set of coilovers from those and Buddy club parts. They also will need alot more mods to get the camber we want and the new sway bar mount setup.
# Rear camber is the focus this time around as the front feels fine, just need more rear camber.

Looking forward to this event, just hope the car is ready and performs how it should!

Steve the hillclimb looks interesting. Might not be flat chat near those tyres though haha

Nice, were did you end up getting the cage done?

And yes painting a cage is the hardest thing to paint! Soo much masking, so much round vertical surfaces, and getting into little gaps like on a bar thats few cm from the body ect.

Now my car has changed direction, i really want to add alot more bars, however the painting, mainly areas like under front bonnet dont want to weld cause that means painting, do i then paint under the whole bonnet? All maybe for build #4

Besides bigger door bars and "maybe" some through firewall strut tower bracing your car is pretty decent in the cage department in my opinion.
