having the ferrari driver with his mouth wide open smiling give me the thumbs up was pretty cool.

The 458 has ~225 kW/tonne, factoring in 20% drive-train loss.... My 600cc motorbike has ~277 kW/tonne, w/75 kg rider *cough* and 6% chain loss....so when my mate said bikes were supercar fast he wasn't wrong o.O

Mate - I'm thinking of selling the STi pretty soon if it doesn't spark another moment of interest in me shortly. I'd be considering a comeback into the MRpoo scene, you'd be the first one I'll call if you still have it.

Hold up is I still LIKE the STi, it's a great car...nothing wrong with it and will have more resale than a modified MR2 will ever have. Just not 100% I want to go back to an older car and face issues again. Might end up moving to Sydney in the next couple of months anyway if I get this job.
Oh yea - girlfriend will have my nuts if I bought another MR2. That's something I need to look out for.
