[****SOLD****] 1988 JDM AW11 S/C - VGC

Hi all
This is a very hard decision but the time has come to sell my beloved AW11. 
 
I have been the only owner of this vehicle in Australia, since purchasing it from an importer in 2005. I have used this only as a weekend car, owing to the fact that I have done 27,000 kms in it over the past 7 years. In this time it has done a return trip from Tassie to SA, and then a one-way trip to Adelaide when I relocated. It has always been garaged and mostly covered during this time. I have never been to a track, hillclimb etc. with this car. I have all receipts from the day I have owned it.
 
The car was dyno tuned on 95 RON fuel and showed 100 rwKw.  It was run on 95 becasue at the time Devonport TAS had no outlet selling 98 RON regularly, but I have run it on nothing but 98 RON fuel for the past 5 years. I have not made any performance mods since the original dyno.
 
The people that know me and this car, know the condition it is in, and I am sure most will agree that it is one of the better original S/C Aw11's going around.

I'm actually looking for a runabout AW11 as a daily at the moment but your car is so far above this I wouldn't consider it even if I could afford it. In other words for potential buyers, it's gorgeous.

Damn it! If I could wind back the clock to three months ago I would have been on the 1st plane to SA ready to throw you the $$$! I brought what I thought was a close to prefect AW11, but got one with a cooling system which was a ticking time bomb and now a suspected blown head gasket. This is on top of the $5000 I paid for the car. I've now borrowed nearly as much as I paid for car to sort out the repair bill. All I can say is good luck with the sale. That's one lovely example of the marque you have there!

I can vouch for this car... It is a beautiful example of a perfect AW11.  I owned one back in 2000 same colour same condition but lets not forget 10 YEARS AGO.  Well done Scott for keeping such a rare MK 1 in such condition.  PLEASE make sure it goes to the right owner.  It would be great to post this same message 10 years from now.
