nice mr2. To find a mr2 with similar specs here would be about $6000 to $8000 (AUD). More if the paint was better. The turbo models are kind of hard to find.
    goodluck with the job

Does anyone know how much the import duty would be once the car got there I can get the car shipped over for £1000 but unsure how much it would cost to get it into the country. Or just bring the engine and find a shell

Will look into how much to get the car into the country. Being a hard top might be bad as I find it hot over here at times so Australia would be hotter, should of left the air con fitted.

Are you migrating to Australia or coming for a particular contract period?

lol, yes AC is a must in AUS, but a targa top will be worse if your trying to avoid heat, the glass absorbs as much if not more heat, and removing them just means you get burnt to a crisp.

how thoroughly did you remove the AC? with the engine unless it's something special(fully rebuilt and forged etc) then it's not worth bringing over. it's not exaclty common to get a factory turbo mr2, but the engines themselves are easily had from importers etc.

The only part left from the AC is the pipes from engine bay to front. There is nothing special about my engine was just told they were very hard to get and I couldn't live without boost,.I will probably just be getting a cheap run around to start with for my 3 month probation
