Oil filter trouble

I know this sounds stupid but I just cannot get this stupid oil filter off. It's on a 3sgte, I'm assuming whoever did the oil filter last didn't put oil on the rubber seal and it's bonded to it and so now it won't come off.
I've tried,
the normal metal band oil filter wrench
The crab claw looking filter wrench
The filter wrench that has a strap and handle
The filter wrench that has a strap and socket
Sitting on the engine and using my hand
A rubber glove

I can't think of anything else other than the 3 prong type one but I'm worried I'm gonna waste my money on another filter that won't work because there isnt enough room around the filter for the prongs to move. (and I've gone to autobarn super cheap and repo and no one has one small enough)
I also don't want to stab it with a screwdriver because I've seen some where it just strips a hole all around the filter an the threads are still on.

Any help would be great or even better if anyone is in Brisbane and wants a go at trying to get it off come over!

Whats worked for me in the past is wrapping some electrical tape around the top of the filter so the claws can hold it better. They can be a nightmare though. do yourself a favour and use K&N ones that have a nut on top in future. good luck!

If all else fails get a very long flat blade screwdriver and punch it through the filter from one side to the other and use the screwdriver as a lever to get the filter off. Sounds dodgy as f**k but it works

This is so retarded the wrench is small enough but it doesn't grip on to it! I've tried electric tape around and filter and even around the wrench as well. It just keeps spinning...

toyota sst oil filter removal tool, roughly 30buks from memory from my work or any other toyota dealership, you need the small size which suits E1 and E2 type oil filter. Then get a half inch adaptor and use a breaker bar and that will definately work, had the same problem heaps of times working at toyota

the 3 claw ones work fine aswel, providing you use a half inch adoptor with a breaker bar and extension aswel, just to get the extra leverage. If that fails the get an old pipe or vacuum cleaner steal pipe and slide it over the breaker bar and that will definately loosen it

I'll definately invest in one of those. But I'd like to get this done by tomorrow so I can drive to work. I've tried double sided tape on this stupid claw socket thing and on the filter and it still won't grip. I think I would of spent less money and time taking the whole engine out to replace this stupid thing than I've done so far

The 3 claw I have just wont grip to it. Ive tried everything I can think of except screw driver it and now that I'm looking at it I can't even fit a screwdriver into it once you find a spot to jab it through there isn't even a cm of space to move the screwdriver

Just had this problem about a month ago my god its a bitch! took me an hour of swearing etc. before I took to it with some multigrips and got it off that way. If you use the multigrip pliers to grab hold of the top of the filter and squeeze them hard enough the filter wall will cave in a bit and give you loads more grip that way... and the length of the pliers gives you heaps of room to move and get extra leverage. Give that a go and I find cursing the thing a lot helps too haha. You don't need to worry about damaging the filter seeing as you're going to be chucking it anyway;)
    Good luck!

interesting to hear k&n have a filter with a nut at the top of it, I don't know why all companies don't do this but would definitely be a good investment for next time the filter comes off
