Will 17x7.5 +30 front and 17x8.5 +40 fit ?

Like the name suggests. I'm looking at buying a set of rays Volkswagen that are 17x7.5 +30 front and 17x8.5 +40 rear. Before I get them will they on my car I tried the wheel tire calculator but I think I may have stuffed up the numbers . Cheers Nathan

I'd check the rear wheel clearance to the strut if you're not running coilovers. But I'd say they'd be fine.

I have 17x7.5+32 front / 17x8.5+28 rear with no problems

I had these exact sizes on my old SW20. (Not really exact as I had 18" instead of 17" but same widths/offset etc)
    I had a 215/35/18 tyre on the front 18x7.5 +30
    I had a 255/35/18 tyre on the rear 18x8.5 +40
The front was flush with the guard and did not require rolling
The rear guard needed to be rolled because the tyre bulged a little. The rim was probably 10mm inboard from flush with the guard. A 235 or 245 tyre would be a better fit than what I had.
Car was lowered about 1.5 inch on Tein Superstreet coilovers but I think the wheels would have fit with the stock struts anyway
    Hope that helps.

    What's rays volkswagen?

I have a set of Rays TE37 in this exact spec that fits fine. Personally didn't like the look of them though. rear was far too tucked.  They're just my track rims now.

i was thinking of running ether 205 or 215 40 on the front and 215 or 235 on the rear not sure weather or not i want them streached or not. dont want it cop bait. i have a comodore for that. also i wasnt sure if i would need a 5mm spacer plate front of rear with stock stuts for not.

Yeah they are rays volks bronze forged rims .... and i might end up doing the same when i get them. Say did you go to the hill climb at haunted hills last week end DYLMRT?
