Shifter cables

Looking for a couple of shifter cables for my 1990 3sge MR2. 
 
hopefully someone can help me out.

    My gear linkages finally fully let go and my ziptie fix works no more. Anyone in Brisbane or near (goldcoast-sunshine etc) have anything? I would prefer not to wait around for post :/

    Lithia Toyota Parts give great service and great prices.

    But first make sure you get the correct  Toyota part number from Toyodiy before you go to the Lithia website.
     Do you need both? They are about $200 ea new.

    200 ea is way too much at the moment :/. I think Id rather 2nd hand ones. I bought some brass bushings for them too. (a while ago)

    The cable mentioned in the article is the one for the forward and back movement of the gearstick. I think that is the one that often breaks due to excessive bend in the cable at the gearbox end when selecting 5th gear.
     
    And if you are wondering if you already have the updated shift lever fitted,  it will have a '10' marked on it (see pic).
