Need advice on what to get, and where from [SW20 Gen3]
doing some work on the car soon and was told to get some parts ready
Fuel pump - walbro? Fuel pressure regulator Injectors 750cc. Are the any side feeds the bolt up to the stock rail? Or do I need to do the rail also? If getting a rail should I get top feeds then? Manifold to block metal gasket. Original oem? Or aftermarket. I used oem Toyota before and it was multiple layer metal.
It is for gen3 turbo
Please let me know what you used, where you got it from and how much.
Thanks guys

Fuel pump: Either the Walbro 255L in tank pump or the Denso Supra TT pump. Walbro is significantly cheaper, but definitely noisier and arguably not as reliable. From what I understand the stock FPR is sufficient, unless you need adjustability. Side feed injectors: the supra ones are slightly larger, but not much bigger than your gen3 ones. Above that are Sard 800ccs. Might want to consider an aftermarket rail, though with a gen3 its not absolutely necessary. A top feed rail is no more expensive, and would open up a larger range of injectors for cheaper. Wolfkatz do some nice fuel rails. Twosrus are dealers for them, and also sell pumps and injectors at decent prices.

Dylmrt/gorilla ind can supply all these parts.
What.hp you chasing to warrant 700cc injs?
denso/sard/power enterprise are the only side feed injs im aware of and just getting 800cc drop in side feed injs will be the cheaper than getting a topfeed rail and quality injs to suit.
Stock hg(gen3) is fine unless you need a different thickness to get a different CR.

Yeah the oem gaskets are the best. Lithia Toyota in USA Walbro pump, 800cc and the std rail will see just over 300rwk. Gorilla Industries.

Getting a different turbo put on, thus a custom manifold is being fabricated. This is why I need the manifold to block gasket. The engine builder said that STis have 550cc injectors and they max out at around 220kw, so better to get a bit bigger. Okay so side feeds should be fine it looks like, FPR i am not sure about, would be good to be able to adjust it but dont know if I need it. The last time I ordered that gasket, I got the last one in Australia so hoping its not an Ex Japan thing again.

So I found on ebay one seller selling 800cc sard side feed twin spray injectors and he wants $770 including shipping. Then there is another seller selling Bosch Top Feed Injectors for $330 including freight. Including plug and connector. Thats a big price difference.

Dylmrt can get those injs cheaper than that.

Top feed injectors are cheaper than side feed but you will need a new rail. I have a set of sard 800cc that I might sell.

I've got the 255lph walbros in stock for $115 each +15 delivery australia wide if you're not in Sydney for pick up. I'd recommend going SARD 800cc injectors over 700/750cc injectors as they just slot straight into the rail and give you the option for more fuel if your power goals ever need them. As for HGs if you need toyota or cometic or any other brand I can get you that too. Its best if you work out what thickness you need first though.

Does it come with the adapter plug? Or does it even need it?

Dylan, if you have stock I'll grab one. Pm me the details and I'll pay.
Regarding the gasket, I'm not after the HG. I'm after the head to manifold gasket. Sits between the head and exhaust manifold.

quick Q, how old is the current gasket between head/manifold? it is MLS as sad and reuseable if not real old. part number for the gasket is 17173‑88480

sorry misread. I'd stick to an OEM manifold gasket. I don't have the fitting kits with the pumps, but they are readily available (or makable) by most mechanics. PM sent.
