greddy II ebc plumbing help req?

Hi all, i'll be straight up and open with you all, this question relates to a 3s GTE but in a Caldina GTT, i'm very new to this engine and can't get the plumbing right i've had a couple of attempts but have ended up with 19.5 psi on a stock engine!!! not good!!! I've been recommended to this site so please help if your able, all i want top know is exactly where to plumb the two hoses from my Greddy actuator into, i.e. what to swap with and or block up after??Cheers

Perhaps some pictures of your engine bay.
    What turbo are you using.
    What type of boost gauge.
    What gen of the 3SGTE.
When I set up my Blitz Dual Spec R, the dual solenoid had 2 hose connections, an IN and OUT. They plugged into just after the compressor wheel and the other went onto the actuator. Not sure of the ordering though. It was an aftermarket turbo: GT2871R). The vacuum hose on the boost controller plugged into the manual boost gauge hose, that attached behind the intake manifold. I then had to plug a connection on the TVIS. If you have an air pump with a gauge you can attach it to the actuator on the turbo and see what the spring pressure is.

Thanks for the reply, i've not found how to upload my pics yet doesn't seem to me an attachment prompt that i can find.
The engine is stock 3S-GTE st215w i think it's known as gen 4, the stock turbo is a CT20b and as it's a jap import so it doesn't have the T-VIS fitted.
I don't have a boost gauge fitted but the Greddy ebc records the highest boost reached and after stopping clearing memory a few times i could see i was hitting well above my safe limits!!The solenoid has 3 ports NC NO & Common, i have plumbed the vacuum hose from the controller into a vacuum line already for my readings, i no that the NC port is just open to air i just want to find where to attach common and NO safely.
    Cheers
    Steve

If you don't have a boost gauge to give you a proper readout, then I advise getting one before proceeding further.

I think you have a dual port actuator attached to the turbo. You should get a bike pump with a gauge reader and attach it to the actuator. You need to see what amount of air pressure the spring can take before it opens the valve. You need to work out that default psi, because you can't set the boost controller below the factory spring. What I did was get a skinny hose and jammed it into the bike pump nozzle. I then used a small-to-large hose adapter (they usually come with your boost controller) and attached that to the actuator.

Definitely get a boost gauge before you continue again.

I've got a caldina engine in my sw20. Before I did the conversion I had the gen2 3sgte and I hooked up the dsbc ( dual solenoid boost controller ) and it worked fine.

After the conversion I hooked it up the same way and blocked off the turbo vsv same way as the old engine but no matter what I did I couldn't get it to work properly.
I'd always get boost spike or if I use different settings it would run unlimited boost.

Btw the car runs 10psi 1st gear 12-13 in second gear and 13-15 from 3rd-5th. That's standard boost.

If you wanna know what to block up it's the turbo vsv which is under the throttle body. There should be two lines going into it. One will come from your waste gate into the vsv and the other going out. Block the vsv end where the vacuum line from waste gate meets vsv and disconnect it as well if you like.
If you don't block/disconnect it your car will Jerk when you hit boost.

Easiest way is follow the vacuum line from your waste gate and it'll take you straight to the vsv.

    Hope that helps
