But also good to note it is a revision 1, incase you go buy a plug amd play vipec ecu. The pinouts are different to the rev2 .

But check the part number on the ecu. This will tell you without a doubt.

i personally don't like ATS, friend mentioned before with the gt2860 it was bought as a kit from ats. very average/poor quality imho.

everyone on the mr2oc (US mr2 forum) will tell you they're the best, but i guess they just have lower standards.

ATS/KO Racing seem to be the common guys to purchase from in the US.

Personally - I wouldn't bother with anything more than a GT28RS if your not going to spend the cash on the motor to support the power. An ebay sidemount CORE will be ok but note that the piping and joiners are of piss poor quality. Upgrade the puller fan to a Davies Craig or SPAL unit and unplug the temp sensor on the engine lid to allow the fan to run 100% of the time which will minimize heat soak in the cramped bay and I really don't think the side vents get much air anyway. A single exit exhaust like a Blitz or Apexi will have the highest flow rate but you pay the price in the noise level. Berk seems to sound the nicest and be the best flowing 3" dual setup around.

Also - twosRus are a great place to get some nifty things from.

Just wondering have you been in a 300whp mr2? Its a little different in feeling to a skyline etc... I have 280 and feels great and fun.... So I would suggest in the next WA cruise you try and jump in for a lift with someone that has some power to know what you want for sure.

If your happy with between 250 and 300whp, well with gen2 rev 1, depending on how your current ct26 performs, go with ct20b, replace exhaust and dump, fuel pump, and new ecu. Just need to bare in mind its an oldish eng and spending so much cash, you may wish to prep engine/do internals...

If you wana push more then 300 internals need to be done.

Other than that you got a reasonably good deal so just enjoy it for a bit and dont rush into anything without proper thought. good luck!
