Also should 200 CPSI cat make it bit quieter? Was thinking about 100 CPSI but might be too loud yet better flow and what are the chances of getting pulled over anyways for emissions...(never been pulled over since ownership 1 year ago :D)
With a 200 cell metal cat your NA would sound louder than with the stock cat, but should flow better. Not sure about emissions. A 100 will be louder again and your neighbours would know when you arrived home. Unless you had a fully matched system, cams etc, the difference in flow between a 100 and a 200 would probably be irrelevant.

Not a fan. 2 is already plenty. Unless a car originally came with 4 tips (ISF etc), 2 fine.

It's sad I got nothing intrinsicly against those civics but that just makes me dislike all them lol...guess that's another reason I drive an MR2 we seem to have less association with rice (I'd like to think so anyway) then the other Japanese cars. So far 50/50 opinion on the exhaust, no bad considering it thought was gonna be more hate hehe

^ That is sad, you dislike Civics even though it's a CRX that was posted Honestly though, MR2's have a huge association with rice. Don't forget the posterchild for ricer kits (Veilside) was very much pioneered on the SW20. Thank goodness the rice has been balanced out by the quality MR2's.

LOL all them Honda look the same to me If you say that I guess almost every Jap car can be associated with rice...but yes the ratio seems to be less, at least around my area. Come to think of it, not too long ago someone posted an MR2 with a jet engine lol...however it was functional!!

I originally wanted a veilside kit when I got my car (still comtemplating haha). But now i'm looking at a trd (may have to refinance the house to pay for it lol) as I can't find anything else. I say if that's what you want go ahead and do it, i'm sure you'll make it look kick ass.

I've got a twin pipe end on my single left pipe and nothing on the right. With the 2 pipe arrangement I found it more restrictive. Twin pipes do 'balance' the look of the car out though, so I may have to put something else there. Maybe a spotlight as a reverse light..? :)

Get anything under there as long as it fills the holes properly. Anything that doesn't fit, too small, has to be angled etc will look like crap and just won't work IMHO. Something like a Legalis R muffler and tips would work fine and look decent once the muffler has been polished up. I don't know what a Legalis R would be like on an N/A however..it's pretty quiet on a turbo with stock dump/cat.

I've always loved quad tips. When its something that comes out on M3s (especially the older models that weren't as flashy) I don't think they can be considered ricey by themselves. Though they have to be a reasonable size, and fit well with the bodywork else they look bad.

Let us know how it goes tipiduece, especially sound wise. maybe post up a vid :) Mr2gtracer personally I like the TRD and Border kits, was gonna replace my front bumper with one but found out Madpsi makes a front splitter for the OEM bumper Dr. J maybe put a decoy tip lol The Legalis R is nice but at $650 2nd hand I could get a custom shop fabbed up with the STi muffler. However you do get what you pay for and the Legalis is apparently lightweight and very quiet as you said which is hard to do on mid engines The M3 is more justified since it has a "true" dual exhaust hehe

Instead of 4 outlet, how about twin oval tips for a different look? BTW, the Legalis R for the NA is actually slightly heavier than the stock muffler. A good muffler though.
