Haunted Hills track day

Haunted Hills 29th April
 
The MR2 Club of Vic is has locked in our 2012 Haunted Hills day on Sunday 29th 2012.
 
Entry to this great day costs only $85 per driver/car.  This will also give you membership to the MR2 Club of Vic until February 2013.   As a bonus if your fee is paid by Friday 30th March 2012 you will go into the draw for a $500 Yokohama tyre voucher.
 
For those who haven't been to one of our Haunted Hills Practice Days, below info will give you some initial information:
 
- Haunted Hills is located near Moe (nice pics of the track at: http://sportingregister.wordpress.com/bryant-park/)
- Drivers need to wear wrist to ankle non-flammable (cotton or wool) clothing, and a Helmet.
- Intended format will be 4 groups in 20 minute sessions.
- As this is a Practice Day this is an untimed event.
- Max 2 cars on the track at one time. The 2nd car will only be released once the 1st car is past the halfway point.
- Lunch will not be supplied on this occasion however we are in discussions with Haunted Hills to provide canteen facilities. 
- St John's Ambulance will be in attendance 
 
Cars do not need to be specifically modified to attend this practice day.

Should be a fantastic day, but probably advisable to get your entry in quickly to be sure you don't miss out.

i'll definately come watch. don't think i'll go out on the track though, need a chance to get used to the new suspension before i'd want to give THAT track a burl. (lots of corners over crests and not much run-off area)

Since i'll be getting my mr2 up and running again i'd love to attend, only thing is I don't think it will be ready by then. I would like to definitely spectate and get some happy snappies of the group though.

Is it possible to spectate this time round? I'm still interested in getting membership renewed again.

I'm quite interested in this - but it just happens to be on the birthday of a new girl I'm seeing.... is it a full full day? half day? should I be a **** and just come? :P

Gotta get your priorities right mate lol. She'll have a birthday the same time next year too lol. This is going to be an awesome event.

Yes, honesty is always the best policy.
 
Gently let her know that your mates, their cars and going fast up some twisty bits are more important to you than some recent sentimental attachment for her getting older and meeting her friends & family.
 
Keep her keen and you should be right to go in no time!
 
However, unless you're back well before lunch/dinner, you may need to sew them back on before you go out again (& don't even think of trying to blame the car...).
