Yeah but I put some wd40 on it after installing the gas strut and it WAS working. I tested it 4 or 5 times. Then as soon as I installed the temp sensor it wouldn't pop up at all.
I'll see about getting a stronger spring though. Cheers!

Well.. it should have been about $125-ish but the group buy got picked up by customs and stung with an import duty so I ended up paying about $150 total. With the crappy Australian dollar it's a bit over $100 atm not including shipping. If you don't have your radio/cd player going you will notice them when idle but not so much when driving. If you have even a half decent stereo system you won't notice them.
I notice the million rattles coming from behind the dash a LOT more. So annoying. Have to turn up the stereo quite loud not to hear it. Funny I don't notice any rattles with the targas off.
As far as if they're worth getting? Hard to say. They look impressive though :) Good on hot days when you may be stuck sitting at intersections.

Someone in a Ford Ute decided he should reverse into my car while it was parked.. [8~2] Rear bumper is stuffed and both tail lights were cracked. Luckily he had insurance and stuck around to give me his details. Fortunately I'll be better off in the long run as I has some deep scratches on my tail lights that I was unhappy with and the rear bumper was a little bumpy along the top edge. Now I'll get nice brand new tail lights and bumper :)
