For sale: JDMR2. Custom metallic gen3 turbo. NOW PARTING OUT!!

Most of you know the car. Basically I've owned it for the past 2 years and in that time dropped over $30,000 in maintenance and modifications.

I had a small parking accident and have cracked the front bar and scraped the sideskirt, however the front bar can be fiberglassed and I've purchased some Greddy sideskirts (which match the rest of the kit) which just need to be sprayed and put on.
The engine has a vacuum leak (which will just be a hose that's fallen off, easy fix) but other than that it's running perfectly. I always serviced it every 5000km and fixed any leaks or issues straight away.

If anyone is unfamiliar with the car I'll find the full specs and post them up.

I'm only selling because I'm unemployed, don't use the car and it's just costing me money to insure it. I also need the money to build my home studio.

Here's the mods. As you can see I've spent a small fortune. The stereo alone was over $3500.
Not mentioned is stuff like the new gearbox (with only 80,000km on it), brand new wheel bearings, new interior plastics/vents... I really just went over the whole car and made everything perfect.

If there's any parts that people want, make offers. I may part out unnecessary bits like the TRD strut brace etc.

    Body:

    1990 Aus-delivered
    Respray in Mazda Velocity Red
    Sard front bar
    Toms side skirts
    Greddy wing
    Greddy rear pods
    Raybrigs headlamps
    Diamond Vision headlights
    White LED parkers

    Brand new clear indicators
    Brand new 94+ tail lights
    Shaved aerial
    Rolled guards

    Performance:

    1995 GEN3 turbo engine & gearbox (182kw standard)
    Berk Exhaust
    Exedy HD Cushion Button clutch
    Xtreme lightened flywheel
    Twosrus boost controller @ 15psi
    Walbro fuel pump
Upgraded intercooler with shroud & polished pipes
    Top Gun ignition leads
    HKS intake
    Turbosmart Supersonic BOV

    ICE:

    Optima Yellowtop D35 Battery
    Pioneer AVIC-F910BT DVD/GPS/Bluetooth unit
    Orion 6.5" Splits
    Coustic Amp (speakers)
    Kenwood Amp (sub)
    12" Sony Slimline Subwoofer

    Suspension:

    BC BR Series Coilovers
    Cusco front strut brace
    TRD rear strut brace

    Wheels:

SSR SP1s (Resprayed in R32 Gunmetal Metallic)
    17x8 +29
    17x9 +38

    Hankook Evo V12
    225/40/17
    235/40/17

    Interior:

Recaro seats retrimmed in cream leather
    TRD short shifter kit
    Blue dash LEDs
    Blue footwell neons
    Apexii turbo timer
    Superlite Dynamat in the doors

I do car detailing part-time so the car has been protected by wax since the respray and is still like glass today.

As it is now, about 15k ono.
I'm not sure if that's a fair price because I haven't checked the market value in a few years.

If I start taking parts out of it (like wheels/stereo) then it's going to get a lot cheaper. If someone wants it fully complete, perfect and roadworthy (meaning I've got to fix/respray the front bar/sideskirts and buy new rear tyres) then I'd be chasing around 17k.

The car is very close to perfection. Whoever buys it won't be far away from a very tight, tastefully modified MR2.

Price drop: $13,900 with everything included.

If it doesn't sell in the next few days, I'm going to start pulling parts off it.
If anyone wants to trade some parts with me let me know.

    - Cream leather Recaros (with rails and matching door cards) - Trade me your stock seats/door trims + $1400 ono (they cost me $2000 all up and still in perfect nick)

    Stereo (perfect for MR2), includes:
    - Double-din Pioneer GPS/DVD/bluetooth/ipod/etc. RRP: $2500.
    - Sony Slimline sub
    - Kenwood 1000w amp (for sub)
    - Coustic amp (powering the speakers. not sure on specs. came with the car)
^ All that for $1500 ono. Will consider trades for cheaper headunit.

    - TRD rear brace (great structural condition. a little bit of surface rust. would come up perfect with a respray): $200
    - Cusco front brace: $100 + trade me for a stock one

    - Berk Exhaust (nearly brand new. with a polish it'll look perfect. don't think there is any scratches at all): $600 (payed $900)

    - SSR Professor wheels (custom gunmetal grey). Some gutter rash on left side. They're cheap to repair (about $140 for both).
Asking $2000 (cost me $3400 all up including tyres and spray). Rear tyres are going bald now. Fronts are still great.
^ Will consider trades for R32 GTS-T/GTR wheels (and cash my way) or stock wheels

Also got a few other parts lying around like a lightened stock flywheel, NA engine lid & some interior plastics.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think there is a stock front strut brace....

Ahh...I see. I didn't realise the aftermarket ones bolt down from that point. Always thought the factory bars were retained.

Kogashiwa Kai, I'll give you first dibs on the brace because you're in Melbourne and I'd rather avoid posting.

I'll go outside and get a pic now of it in the car.

The flash makes it look worse than it is, but here you can see the main rust spot (where the rain comes through the engine lid obviously) and a few other little bits.
Structurally it's very solid. As I said, a respray will bring it back to mint condition :) Something you can definitely do yourself or get done for cheap.

    Okay, now $12,900 as is.

Or $9000 minus wheels/seats/zorst/stereo. Someone just take my car :( Need it gone within 6 days.
