It's gonna be a day in the Mazda for me . But on the other hand they're getting 141rwkw, just sorting out cold start running.

Could be worse :P but i'll have a spare seat in mine mate. Up to you?
I've discovered I've got a leaky valve in my rear left Enkei, so luckily the tyre shop can fit me in 8.30 tomorrow morn.

not a bad figure since they had that at the engine factory!

It's alright. The sp23 isn't too bad through the hills. But it's no V6 MR2 :(.

Even though it's taking way longer than originally estimated I'm still happy with the progress Classic Performance are making.

Also, that '+2 inches rule' on wheels no longer applies, worked out on overall diameter. Unless the stock 15s with tyres have a different diameter to the 14s?

See you tomorrow guys

Yeah it's 15mm +/- rolling diameter

Stock 14" rolling diameter
Front - 590mm
Rear - 602mm

Stock 15" rolling diameter
Front - 596mm
Rear - 606mm

Gives you a little extra

Hmm my rear 235/40/17 = 619.76 millimetres
front 215/40/17 = 604.52 millimetres
I might need a new placard too lol
Glad I didn't go any wider on the rear, that would really stuff things up!

For me I currently have

Front 215/40/17 on a 7.5" wheel = 604mm (+8mm) Old placard (+14mm)
Rear 235/45/17 on a 8.5" wheel = 643mm (+37mm) Old placard (+41mm)

with 235/40/17 on the back it's 620mm (+14mm) Old placard (+18mm)

in order to be legal on the back with the old placard I'd have to run 225/40/17 so I suppose it'd not too hard to keep it legal on an earlier placard.

Can increase the track no more than 26mm so I'm not sure where I stand there

Josh did you catch a look at that black SW20 heading up greenhill as we were on our way down?

Well what a great drive through the hills today! I'm sure we all had fun, and perfect weather to top it off - look forward to the next one :D

Here's a couple more pics

MRVirgin - yes I did see that black one whilst we were blasting down greenhill and it looked mint!
