The 15th Car LOL - Fairlady Z 300zx

Don't worry i'm still keeping the ZZT231 Toyota Celica, but I wanted a proper dedicated project car for a few years now.

This 300zx came up and I was all too keen to snap it up:

Well i've had a few cars in my time (around 15 now) and I have never owned a v6 or a front engined Rear Wheel drive car, the opportunity came up to get a pretty good nick 300ZX that wasn't running.
It needed a battery and a fuel pump but both of which are pretty easily obtained.
1990 model JDM Fairlady Z Non Turbo
Transmission Auto
Modifications 16" BBS Rims, Aftermarket 2.5" Twin Exhaust System, Dual Pod Filter setup under the front bumper.
Plans for the Vehicle
I'm hoping to fix up a few things on it and eventually keep it as a weekend ride.

The 6k receipts included which was accumulated in the last year was more than enough to justify it hahaha. Not to mention its buying price which was too good to be true.
I won't be using the car everyday though, I have the ZZT231 for that. And since I can take my time working on it there is no rush to finish (and i won't spend stupid amounts of money at mechanics). I'll be able to get the work done myself whenever I have time hehe. If its off the road for 3 weeks, no worries. 6 months... no worries hahaha I love having a garage finally

    ^LOL
Just where do the funds come from??
Btw just curious Matt, how's the fuel consumption of the 2GR in the MR2? On paper the Aurion is about 10L/100km and that thing weighs 1600kg, the MR2 should be around 1200kg so about 7.5 - 8L/100km sound right?

Yeah fuel consumption is really good with the 2gr, would probably be a lot better if i drove it gentler tho.

An Aurion is a lot worse than 10l/100km around town. Combined  figures  are always misleading because the thing is just ticking over on the highway at 100 km/h.
