To aid further, should quote offset and if you are running a bodykit

For stock i'm a fan of the quoted size.

And if you going to fit bigger brakes they may be a hinderance if they dont clear, Its not always about appearance

i have a kit and am currently running 17x9 all around (came with the car) but i'm feeling the turn in is a little sluggish so i will prob change to 17x8 in front and 17x9 in back.
The offset is a but outta wack which is why i want to eventually get rid of them haha

Depends what you're after. Personally for a car that sees lots of track time, I'd go with 7.5" front and 8.5" rear.

For a street car 8" 9" is great with the right stance/offset combination.

Any wider and you start having to play a fair bit with camber etc to get them to fit.

    Hey Dylmrt,

Do you have or will you be getting in any work meister s1's with gold centres/chrome ring (two piece), SSR Type C - RS (bronze with chrome ring), Professor SP1 (same) or even Work gram lights 57s (either gold or bronze with chrome ring).
Looking for staggered 7.5 - 8 in front and 9 rear both in either 17" or 18"
I have lowered suspension already however will be moving to coilovers very shortly.

What would your suggestions be?  Also looking to get tyres with them

That's normal sizing. Typically you'll see:

    F 17x8 +35 (215/40)
    R 17x9 +35 (245/40)

    F 18x8 +35 (215/35)
    r 18x9 +35 (235/40, or 255-265/35)

Having your guards rolled would be adviseable either way. You can go a lot more aggressive, but 8/9 +35 is seen as the "safe" flush setup.

I'm sure Gorilla Industies/Dylan can get hold of those rims for you. As a reference, here's how mine sit (18x8 +35, 18x9.5 +29)
