Thanks B24, I look forward to tracking the car.
I just hope my driving does the car some justice.

The car drives to my liking, the turn into a corner is great no, understeer.

The power is awesome and kinda scary on a cold night with the dense air making more torque and power, feels supercar fast.

The updates are rebuilt gearbox with 1.5 KAAZ lsd after the transmission was damaged at a panel shop...which they eventually paid for.

Have bought a few things recently, HTA3076R, FIC2150cc injectors, Radium surge tank 485L E85 walbro, Wolfkatz top feed fuel rail and PS1000 Haltech with E85 sensor.
Things have slowed down on the modding front due to having a new baby boy and buying a business etc.

Haha you're doing flex fuel too, awesome!

Congrats on the baby and the business!

There is an extensive build thread for my car here: http://www.mr2australia.com/mr2play/tm.aspx?m=18316

I hear all the cool kids are running E85.
The extra volume of E85 fuel seems to spool the turbo up sooner and allows you to run much more boost.
More power and earlier torque, Win and win.
I love the Haltech PS1000's ability to change tune with differing ethanol content, one less worry when doing long drives.

Thanks Rob, theres been many sleepless nights, havent even driven my car for almost 6 weeks!
Getting boost withdrawal symptoms. Ha ha.

Your beast should be ready to drive soon, I bet you are so looking forward to that.

Hi mobi

Very nice MR2 gives me lots of ideas, not sure if that is good or bad at this stage....
I was just wondering where you got the Abflug flares they are probably the only flares I have seen on an MR2 that actually suit the MR2 and don't distroy the looks.

Current ride, 2010 TT RS
Previous ride, 1994 JDM MR2 Turbo hardtop

Gatesys, there are no great updates for a while.
Just having fun driving the car, thats a change from the build where it was sitting on the hoist for months.

Nik Lee, I found the Abflug flares on ebay UK . Dont know if they are still being offered for sale.
I agree with flares not ruining the clean sexy lines of the MR2, they just add a bit of muscle.
This is how it drives ......Someone caught me.
