You would think its a noisy car but infact it very quiet. Far more quiet than many other cars at track days. Will you make the track day?

I could easily have my car ready by then though unfortunately I've run out of money to spend on the car.
I have been to Marulan twice now. The last time I could have taken the MR2 though I assumed it would be too loud, as they have noise restrictions there. I took my street GT4 instead and had a great time. I managed to do a 47.5s lap on standard suspension, standard boost and street tyres. I was pretty happy with that.

Are you sure? There was a EVO 6.5 with semi slicks on the day I was there and he was doing 45s laps.
    What tyres were you running?

wat? i did 45 in my na!

Just saw this thread - http://www.mr2australia.com/MR2play/tm.aspx?&m=11419&mpage=1
How can you do a 45 at Marulan when you do a 1m20s at Wakefield?
I have done a 1m19s at Wakefield in my old VS Commodore V6 with street tyres, auto and stock suspension!

That would be the short track for that time at Winton.
Comparison: 1.31 at Winton (long) is around 1.04 at Wakefield and around mid to late 1.30's at EC (at a guess). Dont know about Marulan.
What did the Celica do at EC and Wakefield?

What did the Celica do at EC and Wakefield?

At a wild guess, The Celica would do maybe 1m58s at EC? 59 maybe.
At Wakefield I reckon it could do a 1m 15-16s
    This is with street tyres
For comparison, I had my stock standard S15 with old semis at Wakefield and it did a 1m14.1s

A 45s lap at Marulan would equate to a 1m12-13s or so, not 1m20s
