So can anyone come up with a good reason NOT to run 45 profile tyres on the rear?

Need engineering services?
CAD, laser cutting, machining, fabrication, signage, sourcing of materials and more.

you might want to consider the Federal FZ201. these are a proper race semi-slick. we have a limited range on special (see our post in Road & track section)
