United Fuels and E85

Just a little thing I have found, which is the the are 2 Untied Fuels in SA that do the E85, they are:

Pooraka 880-884 Main North Road Pooraka SA 5059 Seaton 169-171 Tapleys Hill Road Seaton SA 5023
But on another note, they do a 100 Octane premium unleaded and was wondering how that would compare to the E85? I know the E85 has a higher octane but can there be that much difference? As there are plenty of places in SA that do the 100 octane stuff...

Also little update on the car, the engine is almost complete, the builder has dont everythin and is just waiting on the 1zz buckets.

Hope all is well

Alex

Hey mate hope all is well with you.

Re United 100 octane is basically ULP98 with 10% Ethanol:

    Enhanced Petrol and Engine Performance

Premium 100 is a high performance petrol with an octane of 100, which is the highest rating available in the Australian market. Ethanol is a natural octane enhancer - adding 10% ethanol to petrol boosts its octane number and its performance.

I've been to one United servo on Torrens Rd at Pennington a while back, and it said they had 100 there on a sticker but I asked the attendant and she didn't know what I was talking about haha. So I wouldn't trust whats marketed on the net as its mostly wrong info.

I haven't found any places that do 100 octane man in Adelaide. You'll only really find the usual 98 and E-Flex from Caltex.

Great news on the engine, what a beast it'll be!

    Cheers
    Josh
