Hey mate, I'm just about to upgrade my exhaust, I have a lot of people suggest 2" piping plus of mandrel bend because of back pressure. Is there anything else you'd suggest or have opinion on? And what tips have you got?

hey man well id say go twin just because i prefer them but thats up to u i have 3" piping and 4.5 inch tips not sure about the mandrel bend bacause i baught my exhaust system whole but if u r going to do your exhaust i suggest gettign a downpipe also but make sure its a high flow cat downpipe as most places for legal reasons will not fit a "hot dog" but legality is entily up to u . My exhaust upgrade gave me much better spool up and lovely sounds wen the turbo spools up but i would ask around a bit more if your not sure yourself ps the exhaust i have installed very very loud lol

Welcome. Nice MR2 -I like the wheels, I have the same set in 17s Regarding the kit: I would try and track down a front lip to match skirts or remove skirts and replace with stock side vents. The border kit is nice, there is a nice orange one getting around WA - imo, if going border kit you need big wheels.

Nice example. I'd recommend a Gen3 front lip, wider rims with good tyres and get rid of that silly intake scoop on the side. Also a Gen3 rear light "upgrade" and change the front indicators with JDM yellows...but obviously that's my opinion :)

yeh i do plan on gettign bigger wheels lol but i want to do other mods first cause i dont mind them for now bigger wheels come wen bodykit and stuff gets put on etc yeh i also dislike the front lip on the gen 2 lol but i will get a borders front anyways cause i liek the aggressive angles of the border front lip with the rims i was thinking of going for white rota GTR 17"x 9 in the rear and 17"x8 in the front with some fender flares for the over hang oh and the i do eventualy plan on doing a 93 back lights conversion:) already have the lights just need to buy the center peice

17x8 and 17x9 look great on SW20's - no real need for fender flares with most wheels - they sit pretty nicely on a stock body. Don't make mistake I did with getting centre panel alone, don't forget to get the little L Brackets and matching late model boot lock.

Bronze; white wheels are ridiculously annoying to keep clean and look cheap when covered in brake dust.
