Opinons: Worthwhile cost to update the mr2?

Having my mr2 for over 5 years now, i've actually come a custom to the original body work/colour. When i first was researching into buying one, my top of the list mods were: (which never happen lol)

1) Painting the side bumper to colour code the paint work
2) Buy myself a Rev.IV wing

I only ask because i remember before buying an mr2, i had a unbiased view on the sw20. (EG: I always thought the pre 93 rear lights+spoiler were old but i actually think they look alright now lol). Maybe from a non-mr2 owners point of view, the rev.IV wing looks better + side bumpers colour coded looked better?

What you guys/girls prefer?

Cheers
(i got a genIII)

Yes, I have become accustomed to the earlier model taillights, and the older style non colour coded side strip.
I do like the rev5 wing but can't justify its cost. Yes, you can still find one or two brand new, in opened boxes.
I really dislike sw early 3 piece wings. DO not want.
1 Piece normal upgrade cost wing is fine by me. My wobbly turbo doesnt need the adjustable downforce of the rev5 master g-force.
    (It does look good tho)

Just remember if you have an early wing, and update you will still be left with the four or six holes on quarter panels which would need to be welded up and painted.
The one reason stopping me putting on my dewinged bootlid.
From experience, I had white wheels on a white car with the centre strips colour coded, was a bit to much - I thought it needed something to break it up. Was easier just changing wheels then changing colour of centre strips again.

Personal opinion here, if I was forking out for a Rev5 wing, I would rather track down one of these, I think it really suits MR2.

You wont find too many non-MR2 owners on here lol
Zenki tail lights look good - Nothing wrong with them. Kouki look too much like a Skyline or something IMO.
Black strips really make the s'dub look dated. They gotta be the same colour as the duco. ;)

Shortly after I got my 90 model I did the usual thing by fitting later tail lights and front lip, but now I 'm even considering putting it back to stock.
It all depends on your point of view, but I think that completely stock early SW20's still look pretty good for a 20+ YO car.
There's something special about a well maintained original car.

Cheers for the comments guys, $$$ has been justified. Will book it into the panel beaters next week for the spray.lol

Chase_D, what type of spoiler is that? Trust? Does look pretty good tho i have to find some pictures of it mounted on a stock body.

Ill see how i go after the respray on what wing to upgrade to. So far its the one you showed me or a replica rev.iv with carbon blade. Seems the rev.iv is still popular. Dont want anything too drastic and i want to keep the panels stock.

Red, really? I think the sw20 needs the front genIII lip. Just looks really dated without
