Been awhile since I've updated and it's been a really slow process but I've decided to allocate only a certain amount of time and money on the car as I have other commitments too :) When my shifter lever broke 2-3 weeks back I decided to install the short shifter plate as well from Twos R Us. After 21 years of human grime and slime I decided to disassemble all the bits and pieces of the shifter assembly. Cleaned up every nook and cranny and even soaked the parts on turpentine hehe. If you look in the well there's like a strand of Mi Goreng LOL I forgot to take the after photos but it's certainly a lot better than this! So how does the short shifter plate feel? First thing I noticed, shorter duh. But seriously it lives up to the reviews on Twos R Us about the shifter being smoother. It's not a perfect smooth (almost never the case with mid engine, cable) but it's easier to shift into gears and obviously requires less travel, combined with the 93+ shift lever I already had, it's an improvement I'd say for only $20 so I got my money's worth :) Next job: Full interior detailing with the Rug Doctor :D

7 Months without updates but I thought it was worth posting a few things that has happened since. Before After 10 points to whoever can spot the change :) In between (residue of rape of 20 yr old seats by Rug doctor) Oh yeh and this happened too Long story short my engine finally raised the white flag (thanks to me or rather NO thanks to me). Still on restrictions so I decided to get this engine even tho my plan was the 2GR. Found out after it got fitted that it recently had a head recondition :D which means it's done less than 75,000 Km! (Assuming 75,000 Km wasn't a lie when I bought it). Few dramas made this swap a LOT longer than it should have as it could've been easily avoided but I won't go there. Anyways I'm finally back in the game!

Eric: Well it's not actually drive-able right now LOL had a faulty ECU but new one is coming by Tuesday YAY!!(video will be up). I was able to borrow one for a few minutes around the block and I felt more poke down low, maybe VVTi giving better torque distribution. But I hadn't driven for a while so can't trust myself... AdrianS: Yeh took me about 4 hours trying to detail the interior, 2 hours on each seat with the Rug Doctor after being inspired my Mighty Car Mods hehe. Before and after photos aren't really for detail but rather installations which took less than 1 min (3 specifically, not including seats!). It's worth doing this stuff only when you have time but def yields satisfaction to rake in da bitchez (not really)

MRTurbo: Well I do have the alternator in the FWD position which is same as Mandalay's beast but for now more anything I just wanna enjoy the car as it is lol purple5ive: I said not including seats so -10 for you!! Okay the obvious was the foot carpet (from Matcraft) and ashtray but the not so obvious was the TRD shifter!! Not really budget mods but it does make a difference hehe Actually gave the engine bay a decent clean as much as I could from the top. Intake plenum might need a re-spray as there's too many scratches but the Beams engine has a plastic valve cover so the engine looked decent before clean :D

hmm not that it matters, but it doesnt say anything about you excluding the setas from the before and after pics.

Lmao is that supposed to be a compliment or disapproval? If it's a disapproval to the exhaust I agree, it's stock down to the b-pipe then small oval muffler (half size of original) ending with an angled single 3 inch tip = mega rice and was fit before I bought the car. Sounds racy at high RPMs tho. Can try find pic if you want
