********************* FINISHED ******************* ... well nearly....

Finally after almost 12 months, the interior is all done... and although it took freakin ages -it's been worth the wait.....

Beautiful soft super high quality Leather, nice soft carpet with thick sound deadening underlay. And, the steering wheel has been re stitched and covered and looks totally new!...

From last time, I have put in an electric vaccum pump for the brake booster - I now have awesome brakes all the time!!! (A good thing).. The stereo is finished and sounds great! - Alpine head unit and the rest is high end JL amp and speakers.. I got the upholsterer to put in 6.5"speaker pods and I have dynomatted the whole door cavity. High end polk Audio 4"in the rear - SOUNDS AWESOME!!

TO DO: I'm putting in an electric water pump this weekend, have built a blank for the mechanical one. This will allow me to run a dedicated belt to the supercharger. It has been slipping at about 6k rpm and dropping off boost. I'm using a Davies Craig alloy race unit with electronic control. It controls the fan, the speed of water, and protects the car after switch off by keeping the water moving.

Windows need tinting (Saturday AM)..

ORDERED From 2sRus - the plastic surround kit for the rear C pillar (bloody expensive @ $700 delivered, but it's all arbitary now), and a few other plastic bits that need replacing.

Mechanically, I need to sort out the cold start, final final tune . and I may remove the BOV as it's really not necessary and is bloody loud even being plumbed back into the intake!!!!!!!!!....
thats it ! -

DONE

WHY CAN'T I INSERT PHOTOS ??????????????????????????? WHERE HAS THE ATTACHE PHOTO ICON GONE !!!!!!!!

Cheers
Keith

Sounds good. My old AW11 SC would slip after 5000rpm. Ended up with another pulley & belt.

im so keen to see pics. :)

the easiest way may be to make a Photobucket account, upload the pictures there, and paste the [IMG][/IMG] links here.
alternatively, you used to be able to upload to imageshack.us without joining. upload, get the link in return, paste here between [IMG][/IMG]

good luck.:)

this  is what $800 (inc delivery) gets you !!!! ....
New trim for around the rear window - the 3 bits that always break!!!
and corners for the mirrors and door handle backs...

Does anyone know where I can get a new rear clear deflector ????

Cheers

fkn sensational. must be nice to sit in. :)
so thats what the factory wheel looks like with actual leather.. hah!

good work replacing all the extra exterior trims. They look terrible when everything else has been covered.
i can only imagine how nice this car is in person. get a photoshoot done - the car would look amazing..

Hay Guys - Fast Fours and Rotaries are doing a full story on the car - Got a booking with their photographer, Like a Sports Illustrated Model, it would be awesome to an AW on the cover !!!

Got a plug in for the forum too

Guys - I have just finished trimming the boot - managed to make it look pretty much stock even though it hides lots of ''bits''

Cheers
