Exterior wise a decent set of wheels with the right offsets and flares make the AW11 look a million $$$$$$$. have a look at the blue AW11 in the haunted hills pictures - last page nothing wrong with a tan interior as long as it compliments the colour your respraying it with. im not soo sure about the flames with the painting, but each to their own.

Hi Keith, You didn't give the dyno results. Rumour has it you got 370 rwkw and the Rotrex couldn't keep up. I'm looking forward to seeing it. Peter ozhummer
ALMOST FINISHED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Car is back from tuners - Making ... hmm 'good' power! .. slightly exceeded expectations on pump fuel and running nice with a deep throaty lumpy idle, sounds like an old school muscle car.
It's ready for the upholstery, and I think I will borrow necessary interior parts from my red car to get it registered. It has it’s blue plate with all required codes so no reason to hold off. I’ll drop it off this week.
It’s looking awesome!!! But goes better! .. I have driven a lot of very powerful cars including my Group B Alfa twin turbo GTV6 with many hundreds of RWHP (ahh – many years ago that was..) .. I have a lot of WRX’s (including a rare STI 22B ) .. BUT – my MR2 is probably the quickest! – it’s ballistic.
Task for today is pure finishing .. under body skins, side stripes and decals, when it’s done I will photograph it all and post some nice ones…
I though the project would never be finished, but there is light at the end of the tunnel – ands it’s pretty bright…

Way to go C38-91 ! But be careful , might shred the gear box and or axles. BTW the Honda guys advise NOT to go to aggressive cams. But well done for what you have already accomplished. Welcome to the club. It would be a little rocket Now i dont feel alone and have someone to back me up on how great the Rotrex is ! All the MR2's have been finally done AW11 SW20 Spyder

GB and Axles are up to the task with plenty to spare ... Cams are not too aggressive, Kelford did a great job spec'ing and builting them...

I'm interested to know what tyres you plan to run - R compounds? I'm assuming it also has some sort of LSD?

Sorry - No pics of my 22b - it was nearly 13 years ago that I had it in Melb.. Imported from NZ back then and was no 6 in the country behind the 5 Subaru imported ( I do know where most of them still are inc mine which is still in WA ..).. Great car. I had one of the 399 2 door STi's imported by Subaru Aust too - it was a phenominal car, but after replacing 3 turbos (under warantee), I decieded to flick it one the warantee finished).. Subarus are great cars .. The MR2 is still a favorite too - How many people on this forum had an AW11 brand new off the showroom?? Also, My restore has LSD .. I am running 17's with street tyres.. No need to attract unwanted attention by running anything that doesn't look stock.

PHOTOS! .. The interior is being done right now and is about 2 - 3weeks away, but all exterior has been complete. I have 'borrowed' seats and door trims from my red car so I can register and drive... So it looks a bit bare inside at the moment .. Here are photos of the exterior - it's very nice, very fast and perfect in every respect... but still looks like a true AW11 ! ..

It looks the part mate. Hopefully I will be able to see this car in the flesh sometime. Great work! Could this car theoretically be used as a daily - or will it be a bit of a maintenance hog?

Will be a daily - reliability and driveability are high priorities - even the throttle has taken me the last 3 days to get just right - I ended up fabricating a new pedal with the correct pull lengths and new spring retainers on the throttle body so the weight of it is just right … Happy to show it to anyone who want to see it ...

Will 15" rims fit over those Wilwood brakes? (ie: have you been able to fit any over them ;) )
