Blake's Daily SW20, 3S-GTE

I'm new to MR2 Australia and thought the best way to introduce myself would be to upload my car. I am situated on the North side of Brissie.

Bought her about 6mth ago and recently got her back from an engine recondition/upgrade. The car needs a lot of work still, few electrical problems need sorting out, it has a few rust spots and the paint isn't in the best condition but when I get all that fixed I can start thinking about suspension and more boost.

Engine: Reconditioned 3SGTE. Will get her on the dyno once I've run in the engine.
 
Engine Upgrades: Forged Pistons, MLS Head Gasket, ARP Rod Boltes (original rods), ARP Head Studs.
 
Exhaust: Custom 3" turbo back, splits into 2 x 2.5".

Suspension: Stock. Plan on putting in Tein Super Street Coilovers.

Wheels: Bought by previous owner. Will change in the future but in the mean time will just give them a polish.

Stereo Audio / Visual: Stock

Interior: Black
 
Paint: Someone has done a cheep respray so she's peeling like an orange. But down the track I plan to get it all sanded back and painted properly.

I think I test drove your car about a year ago can't remember much except the seats where like new. nice car.

... Anyone know if the Jap SW20 front end is the same as the american SW20? I am looking to buy some replacement fog lights but the ones I've been looking at have been made for the american one. Looks like they should fit fine. If not does anyone have have the american SW20 that needs some spots if they don't fit?
 

Got my fog lights :), they fit perfectly. Just have to get them installed now (or make some time to do it myself).
 
 

Yes, that would have been me. Would have been when I was getting replacement coolant temp sensor.

Got lights installed, just need to find/install the cable between fuse box & the dash switch. Seems to have disappeared, will post a question in appropriate section on forums.
