code 14 error what could be the causes?

i have a code 14 issue at the moment, i know its an ignition problem has anyone had this problem and what was there cause?
 
can i also ask how many boards are in a gen 3 ecu? it was sent away to be tested

    The problem is probably one of the following:
    - The igniter is faulty, OR
    - The ignition output driver in the ECU is damaged, OR
    - The IGT wire from the ECU to the igniter is broken, OR
    - The IGF wire from the igniter back to the ECU is broken

    What was the original problem that prompted you to check the error codes?
    Were you still getting spark?

    its hesitating, sort of cutting out very briefly (milli secounds)

    OK, well what I said above still stands.
    I suppose it could also be a worn component in the dizzy.

    i think my mech said dizzy and ignitor have been tested and there seems to be no problem with them so it may be the ecu. hoping its not, there a pain to try and find
