Haha that's fair call, I'm running 225/50/16 rear because it came with Kumhos (ASX?) but due to lower rear springs plus the 50 profile, it scrapes the sidewall. Got guard rolled so okay now. But I'll change it when get new rubbers

lucifer Front - 17x7 +45 with 205/40R17 Rear - 17x8 +40 with 235/40R17 Hi Lucifer, love the Enkei GTC-01 wheels - I note your offsets above.......have you had any issues with suspension clashes on the fronts? According to the MR2 Wheel and Tyre calculator website you are only getting about 8mm clearance. I still have original suspension on my 94 GT, have you modified yours?

Hey Dr J,
Do you still have your old wheels??
Need to upgrade from my 16" to 17", and your old wheels would look awesome on my white SW20 :-)
If you no longer have them, can you tell me what brand they were?
Cheers, M

Im running Versus Zenkais in Bronze, Front: 17x8 +30 (was 35 but has a 5 mm spacer on it) with 205/40 rotalals. they aren't good at all. Rear: 17x8 +15 with 225/45's on it. Bridgestone Potenza's I think Not shown in the last picture is the rolled guards which were also flared slightly. I flared the rears out about 10mm's to make it legal and reduce scrubbing, and the fronts only have about a 3mm flare. Did it with a guard roller and turned out mint The front's at +35 didn't clear the coil overs so i had to run a slip on spacer which has heaps of room And yes, the rolling diameter is hugely off but for some reason the speedo still indicates the correct speed? I've checked with both GPS and friends driving beside me so i dont even know how that can be possible :P

Possible but certainly not ideal. Due to the fronts.

19s are too big for the front on an SW20. The rolling diameter is so large that you wouldn't be able to turn the steering wheel to full lock without the tyres hitting the wheel arches.

I just threw those numbers into a calculator and compared it to my setup. Going off the calculator the set up your looking at will poke 6.7mm further out of the guards than mine does and I would probably try to go for a 35 series tyre as the 40 series has a larger rolling diameter and my rolling diameter already has the speedo out by a little.

Thanks for that Nik. Do you think I would run into any problems with actually fitting the wheel on my car?
