Front fenders are not rolled. They were running 235/40/18 but it was fouling everything, so switched to 215/35/18 and now its rolling fine!

The part I would like stickied to the first post is the below information, which I believe will help many a searcher. Stock MR2 wheel size and allowances Stock Wheel size is "X" inches Max Wheel size on stock body is "Y" inches Stock Wheel width is "Front/Rear" Max Wheel width is "Front/Rear" Stock Offset is "Blah" Max/Min Offset on std body is "Z" Stock Pattern is 5 x 114.3 As I am looking right now at a set of wheels that are 5x114.3, 8" wide, 17" and +38 offset and I don't know if they will fit.
1989 MR2 GT (SW20) 325hp, sold to buy a Jeep I guess "you wouldn't understand"

Did you have to roll the fenders with those tyres (Also, are you runing coilovers?)? Looks really good size wise. Also, any issue with full lock steering clearance?

Not running coilovers. It does look good :) Light scrubbing on guard liners on full lock, but not always. I might have a closer look at it to see if I can make any more room, but for now they're good.

Looks great Jay! Last wheels, although they were very nice just blended into the car too much! I think if you polish up that lip would look heaps better! oh and I think you would be bang on with your estimate of the offset (definitely be between +33 and +38)

I couldn't find anything on the wheel itself except for a very faded and not readable sticker. The silver definitely looks better on the car. The CR Kais are a nice wheel, but I wanted some dish, and I agree about there being too many dark colours with the CR Kais. The new wheels will get polished lips for sure!

Aren't 50 profile a bit too big for the rears? 225/45/16 would be closest to correct rolling diameter for speedo, any reason you went 50? Also for front tyres I calculated 205/50/16 would have closest rolling diameter to 225/45/16. I suppose lower profile means less sidewall flex but 205/45/16 have very limited selection of tyres :( http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

Theres only one option for 225/45/16 tyres, the falken ones which are average at best, whereas 225/50/16 there are heaps.
