HILLCLIMB/RACE/AW11 ... 20V

hey guys. a friend and i purchased an aw11 a few years back and had several ideas on a project. the intention was always going to be to race it. it already came with a silvertop 20v in it. but the engine was definitely on its last legs. we purchased another engine in and installed it alot neater then previously. and then entered our first race with standard engine. we did alot better then expected and acutally won our class. which only sparked the bug alot more. so the project began. we decided to rebuild the original engine that was in the car. it started off as purhaps some cams and go from there. but now the list looks like this

                                     BLOCK BORED TO SUIT .25mm O/S HONED AND ACID DIPPED WITH NEW WELSH PLUGS
                                     CUSTOM SUMP BAFFLE
                                     CURRENTLY DESIGNING AIR INTAKE FOR TRUMPETS
 
ECU (yet to be purchased) HALTECH SPORT PLATNUM 1000
 
i should point out that currently the machine work is being done. engine build has not yet started. hope to be all done by august. hoping for around 200bhp on octaned up pump fuel for now. still deciding whether or not it is worth converting to e85. i understand what needs to be done for that.
 
other things done to the car are. whiteline swaybars. king springs which are bad and need to be replaced... soon. enkei rims with toyo rubber. soon to be upgraded to awesome proxxis. custom exhaust back from standard extractors. everything we can possibly take out has been, car is very light. battery is about to be relocated to front. just snapped a handbrake cable and instead of getting another cable to fix the bad system aw11's have. we made a custom hydraulic handbrake using a landcruiser clutch master cylinder and alot of custom work by us :P (HAVE to post pics of that bad boy)
 
things we are after include. HKS 4-1 EXTRACTORS and EXCEDY CLUTCH PLATE AND PRESSURE PLATE...body wise. we need 2 front guards, front bumper and im on the list for retro-spec's c pillar and front bar. thats is all at this stage. will possibly need more...

Hey nice build, this is exactly what i have planned for my AW11, I need to do a couple of things first before its race ready but you have given me some inspiration!
 
Im still in two minds over a 20v or 4A-GZE swap.

ok been a while so here is an update. 
car is running amazing. we have broken quiet a few local records. smashed a 10 year record by over 2 seconds at tassies oldest hillclimb. and aiming to be fastest n/a 1600cc car ever around symmons which is 1.04.8 we currently doing easy 1.07.
but the latest mods on the go are
 
BC RM series susspension is in yet to be aligned.
 
Making custom air intake system like i have never seen anyone do before. top secret at this stage. pics will come when finished.
we are making custom air box for this as we get no cold air whats so ever.
then custom 4-2-1 extractors. ceramic coating the whole system. and heat shielding fire wall and a few other things. and fiddle some more lca into the cams. aiming for 10-15+ % more power.
 
then doing a brake upgrade. with st185 front calipers and aw11 pre facelift calipers on rear.
 
stripping a bit more wieght. 
 
and other small things like a new steering wheel and trd short shift kit. but all these mods will be done by sept. and will test and get some good vids for you XD
 
here is some footage of my warm up run at the hill climb. the old record was 38.8 so far my fastest is 36.6 which is faster then the next class above us and nearly the one above that too.
