This was delivered yesterday.  Took out of package, looks good, feels good. But wouldn't screw on.
Emailed the guy & his answer was:
"There isn’t a thread as such just a soft nylon inserts
You just need to apply a fair bit of downward pressure as you screw it on and it should cut its own thread and screw on"Hoping he will give me a refund.

Found this one described as "MOMO ANATOMIC GEAR KNOB SHIFT" , but it doesn't have any details on size, etc.  Waiting on an answer.

The genuine TRD shift knobs are threaded inside.  I think they are M12 x 1.25

Be careful buying these type of accessories on Ebay as I think about 80% of them would be replicas/non genuine.

Hey Shaz, that trd gearknob is a fake. I enquired about it before and he said it is a replica.

Just so you know the second one will fit but does not screw on like the original. It has 3 Allen key screw at the bottom.

Shaz,

Not sure if you have checked out DB8's updated post here.....

http://www.mr2australia.c./mr2play/tm.aspx?m=22294

About half way down the first post are gear knobs.

Agreed it is not cheap, but at least Genuine Toyota, alternatively, go and have a chat with Ethan.

Cheers, M

Thanks M,
Not sure if I would need the boot as well.  The one that's on there now is the longer one.  I'll send him a message.
Had a chat with Ethan already & Toyota don't have them any more.
