Senol's V6 SW20
My 1990 ADM SW20
So I've owned this since 2009.
Recently started taking it to tracks like lakeside & Queensland Raceway.
Quaife ATB differential (QDF21E)
Now for first impressions on the quaife as im sure some of you are eager to hear.
Before I had this differential fitted I had understeer problems around tight corners/sharp turns, the Quaife has almost entirely eliminated this problem due to power being transferred to the outside wheel instead of the inside wheel. (This could also have been improved with better tires).
The car feels extremely solid through corners, although being an MR2 it was never bad in the corners. When the rear steps out it is very predictable as long as you don't let off the throttle, because if you do, the heavy end goes first. There is no pre-load on the differential so its a very smooth and quiet transfer of power to the wheels.
When you are driving normally, you can't even feel that the differential is non-standard. It makes absolutely no noise. I could not be happier with my purchase and I highly recommend it to anyone whether it be a turbo or not.
