Sorry mate, going to use the rear bumper for mine later on - my current one has a nasty scratch on it. Basically saving up funds to put the gen 3 boot and wing, engine lid and rear bumper painted and put on...probably take a while as I'm flat out at the moment.
The current 3 piece wing I dont really have any plans for once I put the other wing on - I'll hold onto it if you want it.
Too easy man :) Would greatly appreciate the 3 piece wing. How much would you be getting rid of it for...if anything?

Hi all!!! Well its been ages since I've updated stuff on here....mainly cos my mr2 has been sitting in the garage in a cover and only getting driven probably twice a month as I've been super busy with uni work and what not. Now that I've finished uni and working full time, time to spend some money on the car! Bought some new wheels a while back - Project D1's. Cost $1700 from Taleb Tyres in Sydney for the rims, tyres, balanced and the freight up here - I would like to eventually get some Work Meisters but needed rims urgently (my old ones were buckled and vibrated like a motherflipper after at 100kphs). Front 17 x 8 offset +35 with 215/45/17 Toyo Proxes 4. Rear 17 x 9 offset + 33 with 255/45/17 Toyo Proxes 4. Sorry about the picture quality - I'll get some better ones up soon. Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us If anyone wants a cheap set of 17 inch staggered wheels with tyres, I'd highly recommend these.

Love them! I was actually getting a set of these in the same spec, judging by those pictures I think I might still! Havent seen many in silver though, mostly matte black - silver definitely looks the goods I think its time to get rid of my Meisters!

Thanks Chase! I really like them too...but I unfortunately gutter-rashed one of the front wheels:( Anyway, over the long Easter weekend, I managed to put a few new parts in her. I replaced all the inner and outter tie rods, all balljoints, and fuel pump. Tie Rods and ball joints, and the Walbro 255lph I purchased from Twos R Us. Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us Replacing the fuel pump was a job and a half!!! I don't know how anyone else would be able to do it without a Hoist or a pit - I was struggling using my pit at home (need to save up for a 4 post Hoist). Uploaded with ImageShack.us Where the tank was pulled out from...the hardest part was disconnecting all the fuel line hoses! Uploaded with ImageShack.us Dirty tank Uploaded with ImageShack.us Clean tank Uploaded with ImageShack.us Walbro fitted beside the stock one (now don't hate on me, but this stock one was for the N/A engine that I pulled out....should have replaced it ages ago!) Uploaded with ImageShack.us Car all back together now, finished late Saturday night...just need to get an alignment. I might be wrong, but I think it the engine goes better now with the Walbro fuel pump, definitely at higher revs. Uploaded with ImageShack.us On a side note, my other project - a 400hp chev engine in a 1973 Holden HQ. Beagle_senior: True...in the ideal world I would like to have both types, 4 posts are so much easier to use when doing services and general maintenance under car. I used to use my brother's workshop sometimes to work on my car but his new boss has become a *&^%ing idiot and won't let any personal use now - yay. Bigh - www.talebtyres.com.au/products_closeup.asp?part=&part_no=1076 I bought mine from here...check it out, they can do a wide range of offsets too. Lol, well I really should thank my Dad, he dug most of it by hand with a jackhammer and us boys helped him concrete it...everyone was itching to use it as the concrete was drying out over a week!!! In other news, had my 22nd birthday a few months back and decided to use a gift voucher on buying a EBC Blitz SBC i-D Spec R, ordering it this week. At the moment, my Gen 3 is running on stock boost, 13psi, and I want to take it up to 17/18psi after I thoroughly inspect/replace all vacuum hoses, ignition system, and install a downpipe. With regards to the removal of the fuel tank to replace fuel pump, I followed this write-up www.lovehorsepower.com/MR2_Docs/mr2_fuel_pump_removal.htm - it is awesome and preetty much explained it step by step.

Well, gave my baby a birthday over the weekend a full service including new dizzy cap and rotor (twosrus), spark plug leads (twosrus), spark plugs (twosrus), 98 JDM 3 spoke steering wheel (Dylmrt) along with new oils and filters. Also, a quick note here, I had been using Repco gearbox oil GL5 and didnt like the way it had been shifting through the gears (I've got the a gen 3 LSD gearbox) so changed over to Penrite GL4 75w-90 75w - 80. Man!!! what a difference....so much better shifting through second and third. I also gave it a good wash and polish...paint is starting to look tired and scratched up :( Here's the steering wheel - thanks Dylmrt Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us HKS Hi-Power exit showing the 255/40/17 Toyo Proxes 4 tyres...needs a polish. Uploaded with ImageShack.us Gen 3 goodness....Had not one major problem with this engine so far (thank God) and I've put 30000k on it. Before I washed the engine bay... Uploaded with ImageShack.us Flush rims and tyres....I was in the middle of polishing which why the rear paint is not shiny lol... Curious...Specifically which Penrite oil are you using? Is it a GL5? Could never find a GL4.

Ahhh ok....That makes sense then. That's a 75-80 GL4. Didn't think Penrite had a current 75-90 GL4.

Yeah it's 75w-80. I used it with no probs in my S54 trans for a while when I couldn't find any other GL4. Penrite do have a 75W-90 trans oil - Singear 75, but it's a GL5. That's probably what MIDNIT3 uses.

Since it's a 75-80 GL4 he posted, I assume it's that. Not to mention a GL5 probably wouldn't shift as nice as he describes.
