Faded window liner/skirts
Hey all, The window skirts/liners (those black seals on the outsider of the window on the door) have faded a bit and was wondering if anyone can suggest a way to bring them back up to a black. some sort of dye or paint maybe? Forever black exterior trim dye possibly? Im all up for anything, even painting them if that is a plausible idea lol

Megiuars Gold Class Trim Detailer does a pretty reasonable job of making the window seal strips black again (as well as any other exterior black rubber/plastic bits). If you rub a couple of coats on over a few days, it lasts for quite a while too. It's obviously not as good as putting new window seals on, but it's still a hell of an improvement.

Mothers "Naturally Black" is the best product I've used for this. My trims were all a faded grey colour but I brought them back to a nice deep black. It wears off after a while though. You'll have to keep applying about once a month to keep it looking brand new.

It may look "too" cheap but it's only cheap relative to being Ripped off... read the Lithia Toyota thread under General.
