How wide a rim/tyre combo are you going to go with this setup? Surely you won't keep your current on there if it couldn
t handle 500hp?

There isn't room for much more. I'll just have to upgrade to stickier rubber. Drag radials or RE55's or something.

Re55's can be very noisy for road use. Dunlop dirrezza semi's are a lot easier to live with, and handle the wet a lot better.

actually totenkopf, get Kumho V70A tyres. they are perfect for what you want, quick warmup, no road noise, as quiet as an RE001, and stick like glue.
i will be running dunlops in the very near future so i will let you know how they go.

the pattern is similar to a road tyre, and does not have the big lateral groves that produce the large amounts of noise on the RE55S (even though you wouldn't be buying RE55S, you would buy RE11S)
and they grip like hell, ill find out what compound mine are and let you know.

RE11S

Maybe you could look at 'drag spec'suspension settings for the car unless you already have this sorted. This may help with finding grip if your tyres are reaching their limits.
You could even try something revolutionary. Set up a traction control system on the car. That would be a great little project I sure you would enjoy.
Great to see its all coming together James.
Perhaps you could run it in with a trip to the Bathurst 12hr next year in Febuary.

People who care about NVH are girls[:p].
Can't wait to see this thing tear up Willowbank................

p.s. if people can do close to flat 8's at around 155mph on 9" wide slicks, you should be ok.

Your exhaust valves are bigger than 4AGE inlet valves.
