Well, I mucked around a little with the map & also fuel pressure this afternoon. I got it to stutter less on throttle movements but now the idle is more poo poohouse, also, I can hear a bit of a knock at times (you can hear it in the video below at times, when I open the throttle a little etc. I'm hoping it might just be the fact the flex pipe is hard up against the sump, or something equally as silly and not a busted arse bottom end (bearings rooted etc) causing bottom end knock. Took a quick video. Dunno what the autronic RPM signal was doing, thats the first time I noticed that one. Some of the dash light LED's obviously need changing around. Anyway, hopefully my knocking noise is nothing important :| Vid @ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VXxWpODMWXoThat stupid pulsating noise is the IAC valve by the way, letting air in, closing, letting air in, closing. I need to change something to stop that annoying crap.

Chromies are for ten year old Audis, BMWs and Falcodores. IMNSHO the MR2 deserves functional wheels, and there are plenty that look nice.
I didn't know what to think about the RE30s from just looking at the photos on the Rays website, but they look great mounted.

On marks phone, you free anytime this weekend Bustin? Reassemble a bit more of the interior tomorrow, bleed the clutch when I can get some assistance, then I'll be going for a burn, start breaking this engine in.
I screwed around a bit tonight trying to ascertain what the knocking noise was. Drained the oil and there was no evidence of a minced bearing, so I dont THINK its rod knock. Undid the B-pipe from the rest of the exhaust to see if it were the exhaust bangin on the sump, unfortunately this just resulted in me being deafened (basically just a down pipe) and hearing nothing else. Seemed to disappear after a few minutes running. This may or may not have coincided with the engine warming up, if so, it could have been some piston slap I was hearing or an exhaust leak closing up.
I flattened off my exhaust manifold before getting it ceramic coated, however, it may not have been totally flat.

Jason, what do you mean some lump cams? Get some stupid duration custom grinds? I think that taking cams in a turbocharger too far can be detrimental. As you're PUSHING air through the engine if you end up with too much overlap, your going to have wasted gases going into the exhaust.
