18x8 +36, 18x9 +36, I think he ended up having to use a 5mm spacer on the front, they fit fine with my buddyclub coilovers, perhaps the cusco coilovers are slightly fatter.

ha ha idiot

WOW ken, i had no idea ya car was sooo clean!
can't believe i had those wheels in my room and didnt do a runner
when you going to drive it over here and get your parts?

sorry james for the hijack, but btw tbh imo i also agree they look better on kens car
but i suppose its hard to tell cause your car was
always pulled appart in the pics with the wheels on, hard to get final impression.

Your new rims will look much sexyer and more suit your car

can't wait to see your new rims on :) go take a pic now!

Yay, the clutch arrived, alas, there are more issues.

I was told it fit (he tested) but it doesn't. As I sort of thought would be the issue, the flywheel holes need elongating to fit on the 5SFE crank. The 5SFE crank uses M10 thread with a 12mm shank. The 3SGTE uses M12 thread and 12mm shank. This may have given the indication that it'd fit (as the holes are more or less hard up against the edge of the m12 hole), however, to fit the shank, they'll need elongating 1mm. Going to go see a machinist tomorrow and see if he has the tooling to do this accurately. It was sort of something I wanted to keep away from, but I guess many people (and all Fidanza flywheels are like this) have done it in the past, so it must be fairly reliable.

Anyway, by any luck, I'll be fitting the clutch & tranny up wednesday, and fit the engine this weekend. Game on baby. If anyone has any machinist/engineering contacts that could do this small task on short lead please let me know.

hmmmmmmmm carbon. not sure on that for clutches. the way they operate scares me for a road car.

i thought you wanted to stay away from jap clutches????????? hahahaha.

good to see it finally arrived. now stop with the crazy sell talk.

Never was too much of a fan of the carbon idea myself, and no, I didn't really want a jap clutch as most of them seem quite useless at holding decent wads of power. I'd talked to a few people running this clutch and they had nothing but praise for it, and IMHO it seemed better then the alternatives (ie, clutchmasters). It looks like a very well made unit actually. I think as long as you don't abuse it with alot of slipping it'll be fine.

Basically, out of the list of possible off the shelf clutches, it ranked highest IMHO. Need to get some machining done to have it fit though. I want it machined to very tight tolerances though, as a stray flywheel would be rather disastrous.

Also, I don't really consider my car a road car anymore. Goal is a road registered track car, not a trackable street car.

If anyone wants to swap a factory interior, let me know, haha, yes, im serious.
