Half arsed update:

Currently pricing up some parts, let me know if anyone would suggest something different;

- GT28RS
- Dump pipe
- SARD 800cc Injectors
- Walbro fuel pump
- ECU: looking like either Fuektech ft500 or an adaptronic

This will be a slow progress as I'll be picking up parts with spare cash and now that im not paying $600-700 rego Im happy to just go at my own pace

On the plus side im stoked with how everything came up from the painting and cleaning.

On the down side I stuffed the AFM but undoing it via the screws and snapping one of the connectors. Might have a crack at doing some dodgy soldering but will more than likely need to replace it (priced up one locally for $400 :| )

Thanks to Rob and DVS_MR2 I now have the sway bar reinforcement plates, and also picked up 8 litres of Toyota red coolant the other day.

Waiting on a mate in Melbourne to let me know if he has an AFM for me to borrow and test mine with, then will carry on with all of TonyMR2s advice.

I decided to get out the AFM again and have a crack at soldering the pieces back on (including buying a new little flap piece), I was pretty skeptical so was amazed when it fired up like a dream after putting it all back together.

Still not boosting though, so pulled it all back apart again to check the turbo wheel and waste gate actuator which seem okay, Whilst doing that I noticed one of the intercooler pipes was pretty loose but I doubt that'll be the issue as it'd be too easy. Next weekend I'll put it all back together though, failing that I'll admit defeat and take it up to Melbourne.

I did find a box full of gear that I have bought over the years and thought I'd lost/forgotten about.

Pictured:
2" Ebay spec air/fuel gauge
2 5/8" Speco water temp gauge
2 5/8" Speco oil pressure gauge
A piller pod mounts (Has a postage date for 2008 on the box)
Invisigaurd auto window winder (don't remember buying this but apparently if I lock the car the windows auto go up, doubt I'll bother putting it in)
Omori 45mm boost gauge to replace the stock one in the dash
2 car alarms
Engine lid (I think, or maybe a frunk) gas strut
Border rear pods
And not pictured is the keyed in boot lock and gen III tail lights

Will be selling the gauges (not the Omori one) and car alarms if anyone is keen, the gauges were for my ute (which I've since sold) and are to big for the A piller)

Mine did this too. Second gear boost, clutch in, third, gutless. Did you find any wheel bits? I found my wheel in bits in my cat.

I was lucky enough to get the car back from getting a road worthy done not boosting. Had to pull it apart myself to confirm it as they just wiped their hands of it.

Anyway, I found a few black chunks in the downpipe and there is a bit of a rattle in the muffler haha
