That is one dirty alternator!!
I notice that you still have that heavy triangular weight still attached to the X-member.
Does anyone know it's purpose anyway?
I pulled mine off to save weight and nothing bad seems to have happened.

Its rubber isnt it?

I assumed it was some kind of bump stop for something, but I have no real idea.

It's not a bumpstop, and it's too heavy for rubber.
I suspect it may be some form of resonance cancelling.

I think it is resonance cancelling for original exhaust, as most people go aftermarket and don’t attach the exhaust to crossmember any more it doesn’t really serve a purpose

Ive got aftermarket muffler and downpipe but midpipe is still the original I'm pretty sure.

It uses the exhaust mount to the right of the triangle piece.

Sorry I’m used to swapping engines so I have had to build new exhaust from headers down

Cleaning up the rear cross member (I honestly thought it was painted black):

4 cans of degreaser and 2 hours of scrubbing later I put it back on a bit half arsed (silicon engine mount in as well):

Front silicon engine mount:

Suspension, brakes, rear sway all put back together:

All the engine mounts back in, ran the new fuel in line (getting the out line made up), started putting the cooler back together:

Nice work. Although the throttle body piping to the intercooler looks like it is going to foul on the strut brace.

Haha yeah it will, didn't realise till it was all tightened up. I'll deal with that later.
