What do you like about the MR2 so much?
This is my first MR2 and there are so many things going for it.
Neat Styling, all the proportions seem to be right on.
Its amazing that they could use the same chassis from 1989 to 2000, Shows how well its aged.
A vast selection of Factory Engine Options: Gen 2 3sge/3sgte Gen 3 3sge/3sgte Gen 4 Beams
A vast selection of Aftermarket Motors 3vz 1mz 2grfe
Due to the similarities amongst the years, there is also countless aftermarket support which makes modifications a breeze.
Feel free to add in your own opinion :)

I think the main thing in their favour is their looks. In particular the SW20 shape which has been around for over 20 years and still looks modern in design.

yep the SW20 shape looks gorgeous, the amount of "Go" you can pack into the engine bay is astonishing and i love the way they drive. nothing i have driven can match them(for the price range i can afford)

haha bionikal too true... at least mine doesn't leak yet touch wood
yeah for me it's gotta be handling, performance and the styling, a fun car at a reasonable price and something a bit different to all the skylines and wrx's etc.

I love that it goes where you point it, without fuss. I love that a mate with an S15 calls my MR2 "the road going go-kart." I love how it pops and burbles when you just touch the throttle while coasting. I love that it inspires me to continually tinker in a quest to make it go faster. I love that it's 20 years old but doesn't rattle, clunk or creak (hardtops only for this one), and everything works. I love the perfect driving position. I love that the fun of driving it makes the contortionist acts to work on it worthwhile.

If you cannot even identify something you like about your MR2 i think thats a sign you should sell.

Love the styling that being a mid engined car gives it + its ability to go around corners effortlessly I love how small it is and that its lower than most cars, even at stock height The pedals seem to be placed perfectly for heel-toe Its rare enough that you wont see one every day Not having to cart people around all the time That each generation (AW/SW/ZZW) can hold their own and are not necessarily better/worse than the others Because I have one...
