can i ask how much that gonna set you back for the respray and who are you using to get it done ?

DT Panels.
$2900 for respray in metallic red (normal red is $400 less). That includes bodykit fitment, welding boot holes etc.
Didn't include door jams or engine bay.

Not sure if you'd get the same prices as me coz I've known Vu for a while and got my old car done there too.
Going by the prices on their website, you might be looking at an extra $500.

yeah just looking at prices for respraying to the original super red 2 and welding the side spoiler holes...

just seeing what options is there..

yeah it's a very clean example
I was going to put a gen 3 turbo in it recently but funds are low atm cause I just bought a house
it's just sitting in my parents garage collecting dust, i haven't even started her up in 4 months now lol

Yeah mine still has original 1990 paint.

I think it's probably lived in a garage most it's life.

/\ ian give it anice coat of some kind of synthetic sealant and it will looks awsome
geo and bionikals are also stunning for the stock paint.

Everything has been sprayed so they've just gotta assemble it all and then give it a final buff.
Will start a new thread when it's done. The old thread is getting way too long and full of crap

Don't think it needs it. Looks great as is.

Red isn't that hard to look after. Paint care does not require much intelligence, just common sense.

Remember you can't polish a turd and you will be fine.
