The Panoz Roadster is a sports car launched in 1992 by the American manufacturer Panoz Auto Development Company of Georgia. The Roadster was succeeded by the AIV Roadster in 1997. They were built using aluminium, similar to that of the Plymouth Prowler first sold several years later in 1999. The Panoz Roadster was the first American built aluminium intensive vehicle. It has an extruded aluminium space frame with a central backbone. Special adhesives were used to attach the frame and body. Equally important, an entirely new drive train was used, the 1996 Mustang SVT Cobra all aluminium, V-8 DOHC 32 valve motor. Consequently the new Roadster was at approximately 70% aluminium and was dubbed an Aluminium Intensive Vehicle, the AIV Roadster. If you squint, you see basically an American re-interpretation of the classic Lotus 7 shape. Top speed 225 km/h (140 mph) Acceleration 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) 4.3 sec Engine type V8 DOHC 32 valves Displacement 4,604 cc (281 ci) Transmission 5-speed manual Maximum power 227 kW (227 305 bhp; 309 PS) @ 5,800 rpm Maximum torque 410 Nm (300 ft·lbf ) @ 4,800 rpm Weight 1,170 kg ( 2,570 lb ) Fuel economy 7.04 l/100km (19.9 mpg )

The Dauer 962 Le Mans is a sports car based on the Porsche 962. A racing version of this car went on to win the 1994 24 Hours of Le Mans. As of 2009, no other vehicle has been able to achieve a faster acceleration speed, 0 to 60 MPH in 2.6 seconds! The 1994 Dauer 962 LeMans' top speed is 404.58 Km/ph (251.4 miles per hour). This is incredibly fast! Dauer Racing (now Dauer Sportwagen) produced the 962 Le Mans from stripped down Porsche 962 chassis which were modified for road use. Elements of the bodywork were replaced with redesigned carbon fibre and kevlar panels. The under tray was replaced with a flat version for superior stability at high speeds. A luggage compartment was offered to customers through the addition of a small compartment in the front of the car. A hydraulic suspension system has also been added to meet German ride height requirements. For a powerplant, the 962 Le Mans would use nearly the same engine as the racing 962: Porsche's water-cooled Type-935 2994 cc Flat-6 with two Kühnle, Kopp und Kausch AG turbochargers. Since the road car did not have to meet racing regulations, the air restrictor was removed allowing for an output of approximately 544 kW (730hp). A 5-speed racing gearbox was also retained. Twin turbocharged Flat 6 water cooled: 544.4 kW (730.0 hp) @ 7400 rpm 700.9 N-m (517.0 ft·lbf) @ 5000 rpm. In 1995, Romano Artioli's Bugatti Automobili SpA went bankrupt and the company was eventually liquidated. Dauer Sportwagen bought most of the remains of the company, including spare parts and five unfinished EB110 chassis. Dauer began immediate development and refinement of the EB110's design in hopes of continuing production. Only 139 of these cars were built in the years from 1992 to 1995. The EB 110 is the epitome of technical perfection and design in highest perfection. Dauer Sportscars has revived this legend. The Bugatti EB 110 is one of the most legendary sports cars which was ever produced in series and now will be produced again by Dauer. The car has a 60-valve, quad-turbo V12 powering all four wheels through a six-speed gearbox. The 3.5 L (3499 cc) engine has a bore of 81 mm (3.2 in) and a stroke of 56.6 mm (2.23 in) and is capable of 412 kW (553 hp ; 561 PS) at 8000 rpm. Acceleration to 100 km/h (62 mph) takes 3.4 seconds, and the GT has a top speed of 343 km/h (213 mph). The Dauer EB110 car weighs 230.5 Kg less than the 1924.1 kg of the original US-spec Bugatti. The European version weighed 1884.1 kg, but the Dauer car weighs only 1693.6 kg, despite adopting the longer US-style bumpers, which protect the car better. The crash beams behind the bumper skins are also made from carbon fibre.

The SSC Ultimate Aero is an American-built mid-engine supercar by Dusty T Dronet. The higher-performance limited production version, the SSC Ultimate Aero TT produces more emissions-legal horsepower than any other production automobile in the world & previously held the Guinness book of world records record for being the fastest production car in the world (succeeded by the 2010 Bugatti Veyron Super Sport), with a recorded speed of 412.28 km/h (256.18 mph). This speed was achieved during tests on September 13, 2007 West Richland, Washington, United States and verified by Guinness World Records on October 9, 2007. This speed however does not reflect the Ultimate Aero TT's full potential. SSC estimates that the newer, more powerful and lighter weight 2009 Ultimate Aero TT is capable of a top speed of over 430 km/h (270 mph) The engine in the base Aero model was a Supercharged V8 Chevrolet Small Block series engine rated at 1,077 PS (792 kW; 1,062 hp) at 6600 rpm and 1,357 N·m (1,001 ft·lbf) at 5800 rpm, with the supercharger at 8 psi (0.55 bar) and running on 91 octane petrol. The Ultimate Aero has increased engine displacement of 6.34 L (387 cu in) and increased boost of 14 psi (0.97 bar), resulting in 1,203 PS (885 kW; 1,187 hp) at 6950 rpm and 1,113 N·m (821 ft·lbf) at 6200 rpm, running on 91 octane petrol. Wind tunnel testing indicates that the Ultimate Aero could theoretically reach a top speed of 439 km/h (273 mph) given appropriate transmission gear ratios. The Ultimate Aero accelerates from 0–96 km/h in 2.78 seconds. SSC announced they had broken the speed record for the world's fastest production car with 412.28 km/h (256.18 mph) in West Richland, WA on September 13, 2007. The reported record speed came from an average of two runs in opposite directions, in accordance with FIA Speed Records rules. The first run clocked 414.31 km/h (257.44 mph) and the return trip 410.24 km/h (254.91 mph). The results of this test, verified by Guinness World Records on October 9, 2007, gave the SSC Ultimate Aero the title of world's fastest production car, with a top speed of 412.28 km/h (256.18 mph). This beat the previous record holder, the Bugatti Veyron, that had a top speed of 408.47 km/h (253.81 mph). However, the Super Sport version of the Veyron has since reclaimed the title.

In 1971, Gerald Wiegert, founded a design house called Vehicle Design Force, & teamed up with Lee Brown to create a new car called The Vector. In 1978, Wiegert created another car, called the Vector W2. The car was based around a Rodeck resleevable V8 racing engine, coupled to a three-speed B&M modified automatic transmission. The engine had twin turbochargers, which produced an advertised 466 kW (625 bhp) at 5700 rpm and 630 lb·ft (854 N·m) of torque. In 1989, a modified version of the W2 went into production as the Vector W8. The W8 was essentially an upgrade of the company's earlier prototype, the Vector W2 The Vector W8 had an estimated top speed of over 354 km/h (220 mp ). However, in testing at the Bonneville Salt Flats, the W-8 reached 389 km/h (242 mph) In 1993 the Avtech WX-3 coupe and Avtech WX-3R roadster further evolved the W8 design. Only one prototype of each model was built. Plans called for the WX-3 to carry three different engine options: a 450 kW (600 hp) "basic" V-8, an 600 kW (800 hp) "tuned" option, and a 890 kW (1,200 hp) twin turbo option, While the Coupe had the twin turbo engine (tuned to about 800 hp) the roadster had the same Chevrolet engine as the W8. In 1995 a car called the Vector M12 went into production, it was loosely based on the WX-3 but powered by a version of the Lamborghini Diablo V12 engine. Consequently, some work on the M12 was handled by Lamborghini. As such, many of the essentially American "spirit" characteristics of previous editions did not carry over to the M12. The vehicle was a rebodied Lamborghini Diablo with a chopper gun fiberglass body set on a lengthened Diablo chassis. The drivetrain was a 5707 cc Lamborghini V12 engine, which produced 367 kW (499 PS; 492 hp) and 425 lb·ft (576 N·m) of torque at 5200 rpm. The M12 production run ended in 1999 when Vector could not pay Lamborghini for the engines. This car is listed in duPont Registry's list as #19 of top 100 cars of the century. Vector SRV8. This new model went back to its American roots, featuring a modified version of the GM LT1 engine found in the Corvette and a Porsche G50 transaxle. The Vector WX8. At the 2008 L.A. Auto Show, Wiegert presented a prototype of the WX8. The car is powered by a supercharged 10-litre all-aluminum V8 with a projected output of 1,380 kW (1,850 horsepower), which would make it more powerful than the Bugatti Veyron and the SSC Ultimate Aero TT. Vector claims that the WX8 has a top speed of 443 km/h (275 mph) and a 0-60 time of just under three seconds. Interesting for its use of Toyota Supra Mark IV headlights! Vector SRV 8

Hi Pottsy, I like your Fiat 20V coupe, the yellow trim is unusual. I have never seen one, I don't think there are any in Australia.
