I have now put Narva Arctic Blue bulbs in - and also replaced the park lights of which one was stuffed.

Next was replacing the flasher unit - what a B@#&H of a job, unless u have hands the size of a 5 year old's!!

Another day of learning the weird and wonderful ways of the Japanese Wiring System!!
To my surprise it had an AIR HORN!! in there for good measure although not connected properly and therfore not working - now removed!

That looks great! Don't see too many in that colour. I have the same wheels on my '87 (white/glod two-tone, T-Top, G-Limited). What sort of rubber are you running? I only have the 'Super Charged' sticker on the passenger door, but have 'Limited Edition' across the clear spoiler. Wish I could get mine as shiny as that.

Thanx mate
Rubber is 195/50/15 Simex 8000 on the front and Bridgestone Grid II on the rear. It came with these so not real sure how they compare, however i'm pretty happy with them. When time comes to change i'll research a bit more though.

Well my much needed TUNE UP was today.
I have not had a proper tune up since I got it so here was the results:-
The car was running very lean in the state it was from Japan and running 95 RON fuel (Tassie doesn't get 98 yet). 13.5 Air/Fuel ratio. Power was 86.3 Kw @ wheels[xo]
The Air/Fuel was finally settled on ~12. The new power output is 100.6 Kw @ wheels

Not quite stock KrAzE - HKS exhaust, F-con and FCD... but still very happy considering the stock engine is supposed to make 108Kw.

Was the HKS F-Con worth it? Did it make a noticable difference? And how much$$$.(if you don't mind me asking)
Because if it did, I think I need one.

Think the FCon was already in the car, and hard to get someone to tune them in aus.

[B)]TITS[B)]

If that is how it looks without some degreaser then I am so so jealous[xx(]

I think 60 odd thous KM's would be very believable with an engine that tidy. That one is a keeper for sure. What is the yellow wire connected to[?][?][?]

My intercooler cover come in an untidy condition, so I cleaned off the rust and painted it to match the car. Looks good but those things get dirty quickly. With these AW11's of ours there are a few things like that which need to be re-done every few years. That troublesum lip needs new paint on it all too frequently.[}:)]

All in all, a very tidy machine. If I was to ever venture down that far, I would be sure to come have a sticky.[8)]

Thanx for the comments guys!!
The car came with the F-con, so not sure what difference it makes but going by dyno figures it probably helps. After having the car tuned certainly more power through the mid-range. I saw one for sale a while ago 2nd hand for $450.
Will get some degreaser in there sometime soon hopefully. I was thinking/hoping it might be genuine km's but i guess you never know.
Just got back from overseas, so keen to go for a drive again ASAP

Last weekend I took the 2 for a run over the sideling (very famous Targa stage) with a good mate who just got himself a NA AW11. This was my first trip thru there so took it fairly easy but what a great road. Definately one to do again. Took some shots at the lookout and thought I'd put a few up...
