My source for the caps also said it'd probably be better just to purchase the cap available from the US. He only has manual lathe and mill and the time (as well as the bar stock) required to make these he couldn't justify doing it any cheaper then the ones already available.

Thats cool, I just got the last packaged with the igniter connectors today so after ive connected all the connectors to the harnesses i will start shipping out the kits to the ones who have paid :)

Just a question, has anyone of you received an igniter yet that has 2 or 3 bolt holes? If so can you please provide me with what size the bolts needs to be, it should be either M4, M5 or M6. I need to know so i include the right size bolts :)

Hi,

Would it be possible to mod your circuit to work with the crank angle sensor from the beams 3sge/caldina gte??

They use a trigger wheel behind the crank pulley.

Could get rid of the dizzy completely.

Nathan

I'm going to draw up and get a quote on a aluminum dizzy blanking cap, will be a cost plus postage exercise as the aim is to create an item of similar price to the Alamo one, but attractive like Totenkopfs.

I know Darren and Dustin will be in sight unseen, anyone else have an interest? Hoping to have a minimum run of 5 units.

Missing tooth wheel?
How many teeth does it have?
Might be possible but why would you want this, if you are still on the gen2/gen3 ecu you need the cas anyway as the gen2/3 ecu will not understand anything else than 24 teeth unless the caldina wheel has 12 teeth which i doubt.

Jimmy

Jimmy supplied me with the dimensions of the cap and saved me some time locating my spare/chasing up one from someone to measure.

Just did a quick 3D drawing of it, I'll try and get pricing this week if I find time.

Other than further cleaning up of the engine bay it would also get rid of that bearing and seal that tends to leak, and not to mention being able to adjust your cam timing without messing up your ignition timing.

Not sure how many teeth is has but its more than 12. I'll try and find a picture... there is one in the EPC.

Without knowing how your black box of tricks works... are you using a pic micro or analog IC's?

Nathan
