annoying issues with my SW20

Hi Guys,
I've got some annoying (but not so dangerous) issues with my mr2.

Targa roof leaking - it only leaks on the drivers side, I have looked around on the internet and have tried silicon spray to revitalize the rubber to no avail.
Toyota cost for replacement seals is something ridiculous like $1400 for parts - some rubber strips...

Suspension squeaking when going over speed bumps at any speed over 10km/h
I've been also thinking about upgrading the suspension or something and could use a few suggestions for what has worked for you guys.

These are the most annoying things about my car and are pretty much the cause of me thinking of selling it every now and then.

Any suggestions would be more than welcome. I will try it. If you need further information to get an understanding, please ask :)

    for new targa sela/door seals try twosrus.com, or if your a toymods member ask amamaya to get you prices, they'll be cheaper than toyota RRP.

    with regards to suspension it depends on what you have to spend and the rids quality your after.

    either KYB/KONI/BILSTIEN struts(dependant on how much you wanna spend) with eibach springs,

    or coil overs but these will be a bit harsher

    can use windscreen silicone to pad out the targa like I did.

    can hardly tell its there but stopped all my leaks.
